My hubby came onboard for this review, as I needed him to review the
SUSANNE KAUFMANN
M LINE AFTER SHAVE BALM

The after shave balm Line M contains an intelligent hydro-combination of the ingredients contained in an apple and cell-protecting ectoine.
Ribwort and witch-hazel have an antibacterial and calming effect.
It contains a distillate of witch hazel leaves, which are known to relieve
irritation and promote healing.
The balm's soothing ingredients also prevent inflammation caused by ingrown
hairs and effectively protect sensitive skin from damaging
environmental influences.
The light balm promises to calm stressed skin after shaving, removes irritations
and protects it from damaging environmental influences.
With regular use, it diminishes the first signs of skin ageing.
It is suitable for all types of skin.

The one skincare product that my hubby has consistently used for many years
is an after shave balm and I just wished he was so diligent with other
skincare products.
Due to only using a sample sachet (approx 3 applications) he's unable to
comment on the ant-ageing benefits, but he does
agree with the balm being light in texture and he found it to be non greasy,
which is so important for him, as with many men.
He found that it delivered on the calming front, as do all of his after shave
balms and his skin felt comfortable throughout the day.
He sadly wasn't too partial to the fragrance of the product either which he
described as "too earthy and organic" and found it to be rather
"off putting" initially.
Overall the product simply didn't impress him.
Susanne Kaufman organic skincare products from Austria, come with
a premium price tag here in South Africa and when I told my husband
the price of the balm was in excess of R1100 he then offered up
a couple more comments in the form of :
"Cant see why it's so expensive"
"For that price it should have had some WoW factor"
"Didn't do anything more than his other tried and tested After Shave
balms do, at half the price"
"For that price they could have made it smell better"
As you can see he wasn't sold on this balm,
so I don't suppose I will be popping this on any future gift list.
