CAUDALIE LIP CONDITIONER #TBT REVIEW

This Lip Balm from Caudalie review goes back to May 2019 and since
then my Lip Balm count has increased somewhat from a million quoted below.
I'm still a lip balm addict and ill provide a Pink Link below to all my

~~~~~~
I'm a self confessed sucker for Lip Balms and this one from the French brand
 CAUDALIE
must be my "millionth" one that I have tried over my many years,
maybe a slight exaggeration, but I seriously have put many to the test.
CAUDALIE has been my new found "French Love" and the Lip Balm, or Conditioner
 in this case, was always going to form part of my overseas CAUDALIE haul.
 I purchased a "special offer trio" of balms in their shop in Brugge Belgium
and I wished I had purchased another pack, as this lip conditioner has not
left my side since November 2018.
If you're looking for a nourishing and protective lip conditioner, one that repairs and soothes damaged lips after each application, then look no further than this one from the skincare experts
CAUDALIE.
    This Lip Conditioner glides easily across the lips and contains a delicate vanilla scent and with its anti-oxidant properties it delivers nutrition and protection all day long. Its texture instantly melts without a greasy effect and leaves your lips perfectly moisturized.
Formulated with 99% naturally-derived ingredients, the main ones are Grape Seed Oil, Apricot Oil and my absolute fave Shea Butter.This conditioner can be applied either alone or under/over any lipsticks and is especially comfortable over matte lipsticks, which can sometimes be drying to the lips.
And as with all Caudalie products, no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils or animal-derived ingredients are used.
ESTHEDERM OSMOCLEAN MICELLAR WATER FOR FACE & EYES {REVIEW}
Having reviewed last month, the
 ESTHEDERM OSMOCLEAN HYDRA CLEANSING MILK
this month its the turn of the corresponding
MICELLAR WATER FOR EYES & FACE.
This French skincare brand is relatively new to me in terms of using
any of their products and I was suitable impressed with their
cleansing milk, so let's see how this product performed.
The Institut Esthederm Osmoclean Osmopore Face & Eyes Cleansing Water
completes skin cleansing while respecting the skins surface ecosystem.
It gives a pleasant sensation of invigorating freshness and prepares your
skin for skin care products.
Perfect for active, busy people and frequent travellers who like the
convenience of a three-in-one product, Osmopure Micellar Cleansing Water
gently removes make-up from face and eyes and leaves skin free from dirt,
excess oil and harmful bacteria, whilst still able to protect itself
against external aggressions.
The gentle surfactants form micelles that capture and lift away dirt,
impurities and pollution particles.
Acts in perfect osmosis with the skin while protecting and preserving
 the hydrolipidic film.
Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
The fresh toning texture leaves skin clean, fresh and soft and
I've been enjoying this Micellar Water, thus far, as it's ticks all the
boxes when it comes to what you expect from a Micellar Water.
Having only used 2 products from ESTHEDERM I'm hoping
to try more from their range in the future, as what I've tried so far
I Like.....
L'OCCITANE SHEA RICH BODY LOTION {REVIEW}
 Apologies for not posting any product reviews for the past 2 weeks,
alas I was caught in the "thick" of the civil unrest here in South Africa.
Anyway I'm back and picking up where I left off with my "Sunday Review"
on the L'Occitane Shea Ultra Rich Body Lotion.
As with any product containing Shea Butter you immediately know that it's
 going to be nourishing and moisturising for the skin and L'Occitane are
without doubt the experts when it comes to "all things Shea" as they've
 been at it since 1980, when L'OCCITANE started up a fair and
sustainable partnership with the women of Burkina Faso.
At first, there were around 100 women. Now there are over 10,000,
working to develop the shea butter supply chain.
Shea butter is at the core of their product line-up and their best selling
Shea Hand Cream is perhaps the most well known Shea product in the world.
L'Occitane have a vast selection of products for both face & body, within
 their Shea Collection and in order to make it easier for you decide which
Shea product is right for you they have included the % of Shea Butter
inside the blue circle on the front of each and every Shea product.
The higher the %, the more concentrated the product has of Shea Butter
and therefore better suited to very dry skins.
The percentages in their Shea collection range from 10% to 100%.
The Rich Body Lotion contains (15%) organic shea butter and calendula,
the Rich Body Lotion nourishes and instantly brings comfort to dry skin.
It leaves the skin lastingly hydrated for up to 48 hours after application.
Its fluid formula helps soothe feelings of tightness, offering day after day
 protection against skin dryness.
It has that distinctive "Shea" soft clean fragrance and I found it to be ideal
for my skin during winter, but for drier skins you may have to opt for
the Ultra Rich Body Cream (25%) or in severe cases the
Shea Melting Butter which contains a whopping
 70% Shea Butter to combat extreme dryness.
In cold months, or when skin is especially dry or flaky, you can
combine the use of the Shea Rich Body Lotion
 in the morning and Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream at night.
As always L'Occitane rarely disappoints and you cannot go wrong
with this product for everyday moisturising body care.
SUNDAY SAMPLE
I have un-earthed several L'Occitane samples during a recent beauty
 de-clutter and despite having used the
L'Occitane Shea Ultra Riche Body Lotion
around 12 years ago, I've never actually written a product review
here on my blog.
 I'm sure its had some formulation tweaks over this time, so I
 thought I would re-acquaint myself with this body lotion during
 the coming week by using this deluxe 30ml sample size.
When it comes to Shea Butter skincare products L'Occitane
are truly the experts and of course
I will bring you my full product review next Sunday.
CAUDALIE VINOSOURCE INTENSE MOISTURE RESCUE CREAM #TBT REVIEW
 Following an e.mail received from a follower this week I thought I
would re-post my review on the
Caudalie Vinosource Intense Moisture Rescue Cream.
She was asking what cream should she use for the next few weeks as her skin
has become very dry skin during these winter months.
This product was one of my recommendations and rather than change her skin
care routine too drastically, she could easily incorporate this rescue cream
to supplement her skin with the extra protection and nourishment it needed.
So if anyone reading has a problem during seasonal changes, then this
 cream is one to consider.
~~~~~~

I declared that March would be Caudalie Month here on Beauty Shout box,
so here is another review...

The Vinosource Intensive Moisture Rescue Cream
was not on my "wish list" from Caudalie and its purchase came about by
necessity, let's say.
After 2 weeks of my skin being exposed to the cold elements of the
Northern Hemisphere's
winter, back in December, my skin was quite literally needing some rescuing.
After carefully considering my choice of products to take away with me, my day cream
choice was perhaps not ideal, hence the need for a richer more protective cream.
Towards the end of my trip the consultant in the Caudalie Boutique in Brugge Belgium very kindly gave me three generous sample sachets to try and try I did.
The key to the products function, is in its name, as the cream is intense and rich.
It's formulated to nourish and rescue very dry skin, replenishing hydration levels
and restoring comfort and using the contents of those samples night and day, did just that.

Now let's fast forward to a couple of weeks after my return from Europe and an unexpected trip was then planned for three weeks to the cold, wintry UK in       January and I knew that I had to get my hands on the full size of this                   Caudalie Skin Saver.
    The only stockist in South Africa is Skins Cosmetics in Sandton, Johannesburg and luckily  my youngest "Kiddiewink" was nearby and managed to get hold of one for me.    Armed with this "Skin Saving" cream my skin behaved beautifully, that's due to this product being packed full of super active natural ingredients:
 Grape Seed Oil (anti-oxidant and nourishing)
Olive Squalane (moisturising but non oily)
Shea Butter (super moisturising and softening)
Vinolevure (moisturising and deeply strengthening)
Polyphenols (anti-oxidant and anti-wrinkle)

The fast-absorbing buttery, yet lightweight texture restores and comforts the skin quickly  without leaving a greasy finish.
Can be used over any serums and can be applied morning and evening.
Unfortunately this isn't a cream that I envisage my skin would need too often here in SA,as it's a rich and nourishing cream that soothes, repairs and protects very dry and dehydrated skin, but I'm sure it will be brought out in times of need.
And as with all Caudalie products, no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils or animal-derived ingredients are used. Dermatologically tested.
What makes this product an ideal travel companion in colder climes is the fact that it helps to restore that all important hydrolipidic layer and strengthen the skin's barrier function to lock in moisture and restore long-lasting hydration and I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

MONTHLY FAVOURITES {MAY & JUNE 2021}

 As always my monthly favourites span over 2 months,
which means only those standout products that I've used
over this period, will make it into this post.
I have 4 products to feature and I highly recommend them all.

1.
SUMMER FRIDAYS
JET LAG MASK

After being on my beauty Wish List for so long this much lusted
after iconic face mask did not disappoint.
It's a multi tasking product that can be used as a nightly mask,
daytime moisturiser, or in-flight skin saver and is packed with
nourishing vitamins, ceramides and antioxidants that leave the skin
renewed, radiant and basically ready for anything.

~~~~~~
2.
BURT'S BEES
LEMON BUTTER
CUTICLE CREAM
This product was a surprise for me, as I didn't anticipate loving it
as much as I do.
It sits on my bedside table and I have no issue with remembering
to use, as everything about this handy little tin of lemony freshness is
a pure pleasure to use and it left my dry cuticles feeler much softer
 and more nourished.
~~~~~~

3.
NUXE
VERY ROSE
3-IN-1
SOOTHING MICELLAR WATER

Here's another surprise and I was misled as to the efficiency of this product,
by the delicate pink packaging and soft rose scent, but don't be fooled as
 this Micellar Water is up there with the best.

~~~~~~
4.
ELEMIS
PRO-COLLAGEN
OVERNIGHT MATRIX
This night cream has been an absolute dream to use.
I agree 100% with all of their product claims and I must also make
mention of how wonderful it smells, as it has that beautiful
 ELEMIS
 "Spa in a Jar" aroma.
Personally my skin has never felt and looked so smooth, nourished,
firm, yet relaxed and dare I say it "more youthful" & "bouncy"
since using ELEMIS consistently for the past 6 months.
Let me know in the comments below if any of these are
your current favourites...
L'OCCITANE SHEA BODY SHOWER OIL {REVIEW}
There's no doubt that I adore all things L'Occitane and here on
BSB it's the brand that I've written most product reviews on,
whether it be face, body, hair or home fragrance,
I've reviewed them all (well not quite all, but many)
However the Shea Body Shower Oil was a new try for me and knowing
how well L'Occitane have mastered their oil shower formulas
I was expecting nothing but greatness from this product.
Shea Butter is one of nature's miracle ingredient At L'OCCITANE
and they have a Provence-only rule.
But when it comes to special ingredients like Shea Butter, they make
an exception.
The women of Burkina Faso have been using Shea Butter for centuries
to nourish and protect hair and skin.
That’s why they teamed up with them, years ago, to create a sustainable,
fair trade supply chain that delivers supreme quality
Shea Butter.
For dry skins Shea Butter is the best...
L'Occitane have a whole collection of products based on this
miracle ingredient and I have yet to try one that disappoints.
Shea Body Shower Oil
very gently cleanses
 (I wouldn't recommend use after a heavy days work)
It's formulated with 10% Shea oil, so its rich texture leaves a nourishing,
 protective film, which helps soften dry skin.
           It contributes to soothe feelings of tightness, helping skin feel more
                                         supple and comfortable.
       This in-shower oil delicately perfumes the skin with that iconic L'Occitane
                                       Shea fragrance that I love.
Apply the oil to dampened skin and massage in a circular movement until it transforms into a silky soft foam, then rinse off with luke warm water.
This Shea shower oil can be used on its own and if needed a body lotion
can be used afterwards.
I don't have a dry skin, so I found it best used alone.
I was so wanting to be WOWED by this shower oil, my dislike was the texture of the oil, whilst it was rich it was also heavy, it lacked refinement or lightness and I can only compare it to a vegetable oilwhich surprised me as L'Occitane have always been the experts when it comes to shower oils, if you have use their Almond Shower Oil you will fully understand
and this ain't no Almond Shower Oil!
BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {JULY 2021}
 As always I have four products under review this month,
three being from French brands in the form of a Concealer,
Micellar Water and an SPF Multi Protection Moisturising Screen and the
 4th product is a much lusted after Face Mask from a Korean brand
 that has been on my wish list for several years.
L-R
CLARINS
MULTI-PROTECTION MOISTURISING
SCREEN
I am looking forward to trying Clarins' 1st UV & Pollution sun cream,
this isn't a product I would have gone out to purposely buy.
It was an inclusion in a beauty box I ordered some months back
and that's what I love about these types of boxes as they allow you to try
new products and in some cases new brands.
BYTERRY
HYALURONIC
HYDRA CONCEALER
It's well known, that I adore most products from BYTERRY and this
 Hyaluronic Hydra Concealer had been added to my beauty
"Wish List" very recently and I wasn't expecting to acquire it so soon.
Being a huge fan of the foundation, in the same range I'm
sure this concealer will make a perfect duo.
ESTHEDERM
OSMOCLEAN
MICELLAR WATER
Just this week I posted my review on the ESTHEDERM Cleansing Milk,
which I really enjoyed, so I'm hoping that their Micellar Water,
the second product from this brand that I have experienced,
will be just as pleasing.
LANEIGE
WATER SLEEPING MASK
Finally this face mask, from the Korean brand LANEIGE, can be removed
 from my Beauty Wish List.
Its been on that list for so many years and I came close to buying on
several occasions.
I just hope it lives up to all the beauty hype and doesn't disappoint.
