Apologies for this post being late and I know the title says it's a Sunday Sample post and not a Monday post, but hey ho technical glitches happen.
For this past week I have been using a generous sample size of the Velvet Cleansing Milk from the Urban Chic French brand SAMPAR.

This cleanser can be used by all skin types and has been formulated to gently cleanse and remove make up from the face, neck and eye area.
It contains Rose Water and Lime Blossom that offers the skin softness and freshness, whilst containing SAMPAR's Urban Advance Complex, a powerful alliance of 3 active ingredients (shea butter serum, mint endorphin and probiotic sugar), acts as an anti-oxidant shield, neutralizing any cutaneous imbalances linked to pollution, strengthens the skin’s natural defenses and shocks the skin back to life on a cellular level.
Initially you notice the really pleasant, delicate rose fragrance and then its lightweight, soufflé type texture.
In my experience though I found this cleanser didn't cope too well with normal to heavier make up removal and it took several cleanses to remove all traces of my make-up.
It was soft gentle around the eye, but again only on a light eye make up and for anything heavier I always prefer to use a specific eye make up removing product.
You would use in the normal way both morning and evening and it is Paraben free and can be used on sensitive skin.
To be honest this cleanser forms a vital part of the SAMPAR skin care, as it contains their
Urban Advance Complex, which is key to every one of their products effectiveness, so I wouldn't say on its own this cleanser was WOW,as it would need to be combined with other products from SAMPAR to shine...
SAMPAR was available at selected Edgars and Woolworths, but unfortunately I had difficulty in finding a stockist or even a price in rands, which leads me to believe that this brand may no longer be available South Africa.
Yet again another lovely French brand has lost its way in our difficult SA skincare market.
