This past week I have been putting to the test the

This supercharged micellar water claims to effortlessly removes dirt and oil, cleansing skin at a micro-level to leave it thoroughly detoxed and renewed. Supercharged with hydrating and regenerating rose extracts, it boosts skins hydration levels by over 80%, leaving it perfectly clean, hydrated and

 refreshed without drying it out.

Micelle particles attract impurities and excess sebum like a magnet, engulfing 

and lifting them away to reveal freshly cleansed skin. 

Enriched with hydrating rosehip oil and regenerating pastel rose extracts, 

skin is left feeling comfortable and conditioned, perfectly prepped for toner.

Apply with a cotton compress. 

Gently sweep over facial contours to remove dirt and oil. 

Repeat as necessary. 

Do not rinse.

Follow up with Baume de Rose Beauty Toner.

Whilst I agree with many of the claims above I was left feeling a little

bit underwhelmed by this Micellar Water.

For me it just didn't have any WOW factor, it did its job but I was expecting

 more "Bang For My buck" (as it costs a lot of bucks)

Having reviewed many Micellar Waters over the years I keep reverting

back to the Bioderma Micellar Water, as it really is the best I've found so far.

BENEFIT BADGAL BANG MASCARA #TBT REVIEW

This review was written 3 years ago yet it seems like just the other day.

I cannot tell how many of these mascaras I have bought and it still remains

my favourite mascara EVER !!

and I highly recommend if you haven't already tried...

When it comes to mascaras benefit have simply nailed it 

(they command number 2 mascara brand worldwide)

 and have cornered this market so well, with iconic products like their Roller Lash and they're Real! mascaras and even though I review many mascaras, Roller Lash still remains one of my favourite mascaras of all time and one that I'm never without.

Not exactly NEW (launched worldwide at the beginning of 2018) the

 benefit BAD gal BANG Mascara 

made quite an entrance into this highly competitive cosmetic arena.

BAD gal BANG! claims to provide 36 hours of volume without weighing down lashes.

 It features a formula derived from space technology and includes provitamin B5, which encourages thickness and strength in the lashes.

Not wanting to sound too sceptical, even though I've been using the BAD gal Bang daily 
for several weeks now, I haven't put the 36 hours of volume to test 
(I'm not sure who would), so I can't vouch for that or the claim of the wonders of the inclusion

 of provitamin B5.
Lets set all the Space marketing waffle aside and get to the "nitty gritty" of 
How good is this mascara?

What I can confidently say about the BAD gal BANG! mascara is the following:
It can be layered easily
It creates Volume, Lift and Length
 Its smudge-proof
Water-resistant and flake-free
and I just love it...

The mascara comes with a plastic streamlined flexible brush and it ensures that all areas of lashes can be reached, which is essentially for those shorter corner lashes and it was a breeze to apply.

It's a pitch black wet mascara, which I personally prefer, and one coat does make a difference to lashes, but why stop at one when you can easily layer several coats
to create a bolder bigger lash.
I didn't find any clumping of the lashes with this formula and the removal did take
a little more effort, but then again with all its "Space" technology I would have expected
that.
So if you love your mascara to be big, bold and dramatic then
BAD gal BANG is the one for you...

What I love about benefit...they make mini sizes and although they work out
more expensive, they do allow you to try their products at a cheaper price
initially and then you can purchase the full size if you enjoy the product,
which is exactly what I'll be doing soon.

RECENT BEAUTY EMPTIES {FEBRUARY 2022}

 I thought it was time for a "Recent Empties" post as I have 

several products that I've finished and all are products that I would

re-purchase and in some cases I have.

I cannot lie, this facial spray didn't last me very long and that

was due to both the size, I bought was a Travel Size 15ml and the

fact I could not stop spritzing throughout the days.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this facial spray and it turned

out to be all that I wanted it to be and then some.

It's serious skin care in a mist format and it's great as a boost 

or top-up for the skin during the day.

ICICLE COOLING 

EYE SERUM STICK

Not knowing anything about the brand Skin Proud, the name of

the product just spoke to me - Icicle Cooling Eye Serum Stick.

This instantly cooling balm freshens and tightens, whilst helping to lock in

 hydration for healthy under eyes.

Now this product hasn't replaced any of my current eye treatments,

 but it's rather a welcome extra addition.

If you are a "first timer" with an eye product, then this is a great one.

I personally find it so easy to just pick up and apply

several times a day, as I adore the packaging, the swipe around the

eye application and its instantly cooling effect.

LIP BALM

Burt’s Bees classic Beeswax Lip Balm has become a staple worldwide and

 they also have a variety of exotic flavours.

A paradise for your lips. 

Burt's Bees Mango Lip Balm is made with Mango Butter, a naturally 

nourishing balm that smoothes dry lips. 

Hydrate you lips with this tropical twist on moisture.

I so enjoyed this lip balm, as it feels way more luxurious on the

lips than I expected it to and at an affordable price I can now add even

more Lip balms to my ever growing collection or should I say addiction.

OMBRE BLACKSTAR 
CREAM EYESHADOW

Despite having added several shades to my collection of the 

OMBRE BLACKSTAR cream eyeshadows, 

my shade Rose Quartz finally came to an end and its

 replacement is now in place.

I actually think this shade is flattering on everyone and these

cream eyeshadows couldn't be easier to use.

I'm a huge fan and considering how long this one lasted me 

it's well worth the initial pricey spend.

 that I recently got in my BYTERRY Beauty Advent Calendar and next up is the

 Baume de Rose Micellar Water

I've become a huge fan of Micellar Water over the past few years and I

In the past, I have found some Micellar Waters to be no better than

putting water onto my cotton wool pad, whilst others are excellent

at removing make-up and cleansing the skin.

I have high hopes for this Micellar Water from BYTERRY , as I have

yet to experience a bad product from one of my favourite French brands.

L'OOCITANE ALMOND SHOWER OIL #TBT REVIEW

I thought today in honour of the super healthy Almond I would share 

this post again with you.

Yesterday February 16th was World Almond Day, yes the humble almond

 has its own special day...

The review below was written in 2012 and in my opinion nothing has changed

 and it still remains on my "must have" list, so if you haven't yet tried this or 

any of the Almond products from L'Occitane, then you really are missing out.

 I love Almonds not only to eat, but also to apply to my face and body.

Almond is well-know for its ability to nourish the skin and in my opinion

 L'OCCITANE 

have best harnessed the exceptional beautifying power of almond from 

the south of France and integrated it in body treatments and toiletries 

that are both deliciously tempting and wonderfully effective. 

Made with Almonds sourced from Haute Provence, the Almond range, 

includes delicious shower oil, mouth watering body creams, soaps

 and hand creams.

The Almond Shower Oil is L'Occitane's second "Best Selling"  

product worldwide after their wonderful Award Winning Shea Hand Cream.

This Oil is unique and has to be experienced in order

 to appreciate and understand fully the pleasure and the benefits derived

 from using this cleansing and soothing oil.

Don't be put off by the fact it's an oil, as I know, it conjures up visions 

of an oily residue being left on the skin after your daily shower...

Well it doesn't!

Even the application of the product is special in so many ways. 

Firstly the aroma of Almonds is great, then once you massage the oil onto a wet skin the oil magically turns into a white creamy texture! 

You then cleanse the body and rinse under the shower as normal and your

 skin is left beautifully cleansed, 

(whilst respecting the Hydrolipidic film), 

moisturised and softened,

 (thanks to all the magical powers of the Almond oils)

 and yet leaves no oily residue behind on the skin.

Can it get any better? 

Well yes it can & it does, as they also recommend that you shave your legs 

in the shower using the Shower Oil..

How easy is that, its a great multi- tasking product. 

Oh! I nearly forgot the product is unisex, so you can share it with your man.

This product comes in a plastic container, which is safer in the shower and it

 comes in a variety of sizes!

An essential for firm, hydrated and moisturised complexions, this cocktail

 of next-generation ingredients uses:

was another great inclusion in my John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar

and being an ELEMIS lover I couldn't be happier.

It's also a product that I haven't used before, which is always exciting.

Being a huge fan of treatment facial sprays, on paper this appeared

to be right up my "Facial Spray Street".

The Superfood skincare collection is the recipe for glowing skin.

The KEFIR-TEA MIST is a refreshing 4-in-1 mist that hydrates, tones,

Main ingredients:

Kefir Ferment Extract

Derived from soybeans using Probiotic Technology, Kefir helps to soothe

As I expected, I've been thoroughly enjoying using this product during

these last few hot weeks of Summer and it's even better if placed in the

fridge. My skin is left looking fresh and dewy with every spritz.

My preferred method of application is to just spray over my skin

several times during the day whether thats over make-up or on a naked skin.

 However I have yet to try it as a toner.

I can proudly say that this is another great product from

ELEMIS

 that didn't disappoint and if you are into treatment facial sprays,

 then this is one to certainly add to your collection.
