L'OREAL SKIN PERFECTION MICELLAR WATER {REVIEW}

Micellar Waters have now become a permanent fixture in my skincare routine, especially if I've been wearing a heavier foundation. I always wipe over my face with a cotton pad soaked in Micellar after my double cream cleanse, just to ensure that any traces of make-up are well and truly gone.

I have tried several over the past few years and my "go to" has been the Cleansing Micellar Water from Garnier, who seem to have cornered the Micellar Cleansing Water market with both effective formula's and affordable prices.
 However this doesn't prevent me from trying out new ones, as I'm always on the hunt for one to knock Garnier off its top spot!

I spotted this Skin Perfection Micellar Water from L'Oreal a few weeks ago and thought I would put it to the test.
If you've read several of my posts on L'Oreal skincare products you may know that I have taken a dislike to their packaging, I find it to both look and feel cheap and the standard dispensing hole size is huge and allows product to flood out, which means there's unnecessary waste.
This product is packaged no differently and I "hate" it, but I won't let that influence my review on the contents.

I found this hypoallergenic, fragrance and alcohol free
Micellar Water to work effectively in dissolving and removing all types of make-up from the face,lips and eyes.
Unlike with some Micellar Waters you don't have to rub the skin in order to remove stubborn make-up, so it's perfect for a sensitive skin that needs a more gentle approach.
It also leaves no residue on the skin whatsoever.

Between the Garnier and the L'Oreal...
I still prefer the Garnier, as for me it feels a little more softening and moisturising
on the skin, whereas the L'Oreal feels like a simple water.
Whilst the product is effective I won't be re purchasing, as I prefer the formula and the packaging of the Garnier plus it gives you double the quantity (400mls R79.95) for a lesser price.

Having said this, If you don't like the formula of the Garnier Micellar Water, then the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water could be a good alternative particularly if you have a more sensitive or delicate skin.

For now it seems like the Garnier Micellar Water still keeps its top spot!
