CLARENS A STEP BACK IN TIME {REVISITED}

In December 2012, on our road-trip to Cape Town, we took a detour and visited
Clarens .
The village of Clarens is situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in close proximity to the Golden Gate National Park and the mountain kingdom of Lesotho.What a delightful little village and detour it was, and a return visit was planned.
I recommend you read my previous post
 Clarens - A Step Back In Time

Well, this past weekend we did return to Clarens, to enjoy some more of its delights....

Clarens is home to several art galleries, some great restaurants,lots of crafty shops and so much more.
This is an ideal destination for a weekend getaway or longer if you want to take in the hiking etc.and the magnificent views and scenery of the nearby
Golden Gate National Park.
 Bed and Breakfasts, guest houses,houses to hire are a plenty and available to suit all budgets.

These are random photos of Clarens and if you have never visited, then this may just wet your appetite to plan your own trip and if you have been before, then maybe this will spur you onto plan your own return visit, either way,
Clarens is a must "see & do".
Also for dog lovers, the whole village is very dog friendly and you will find many drinking spots and some shops even have doggy biscuits to offer your "woofities".

So enjoy!
