RECENT BEAUTY EMPTIES {JUNE 18}

It's been quite some time since I did an empties post and here are four
empty products that I have managed to save from the trash bin.
It's always a good sign when products are repurchased and in several
instances I even have back-ups at the ready.

1.
The Ordinary Caffeine 5%+EGCG

I bought several products from the Ordinary last year and I've finished every last
 drop of their Caffeine Solution
I've read many mixed reviews about this product, but I would repurchase this pigmentation reducing and decongesting eye treatment and to find out why

2.
Jo Malone Earl Grey & Cucumber Cologne

I finally joined the zillions of fans of Jo Malone, with my discovery of the
Earl Grey & Cucumber Cologne.
After having tried nearly all of their fragrance selection I pretty much left this one
to the end, as I was so sure I wouldn't like it, well how wrong I was.
I originally got the 30ml spray, but soon invested in a 100ml and just kept
the smaller size for travel, but alas it's come to and end.

3.
Catrice Volumising Lip Balm

I've recently just repurchased this Volumising Lip Balm, as it pretty much lives permanently in my handbag. I originally included this product in a
QPR {Quickie Product Review}
and I enjoy popping this balm over my lipstick to refresh or alone to moisturise.

4.
L'Oréal Paradise Extatic Mascara

I'm on my third Paradise Mascara by L'Oréal, but I don't think I've included in an
empties post before. I love this mascara and always have a spare at hand,
as it's unfortunately not available in South Africa.

RECENT BEAUTY PRODUCT EMPTIES {MARCH 2017}

Not being a beauty blogger that writes a regular post on my recent empties, I thought I would just let you know what products I have recently and completely finished, which is always a good sign.
However I am guilty, as many of you are - I'm sure, of hoarding remnants of beauty products at the back of the cupboard or on the dressing table, not wanting to part with the last few drops or the fancy jar.

I'm not averse to this type of blog post at all, my problem is a simple one, I forget to hold onto the empty containers, meaning no photo, so no post.
Over the past few months the empties below somehow avoided the "bin toss" and all but one have made it back into my beauty life.
(If you would like to read the original reviews on these products then click on the
Pink Links below)

1.

benefit Roller Lash:

I have mentioned this mascara so many times and in my opinion it's a "must have" mascara and its replacement is already in daily use.

2.

Avène Eau Thermale Spring Water Spray:

I just love my daily, post make-up, spritz of the Avène Thermale Spring Water and if kept in the fridge it's such a welcome refreshing and cooling mist on a hot Durban day, which means it's a permanent fixture in my house and even my hubby and the kids sneak a spritz on the hottest of days.

3.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Toner:

The L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Toner is unfortunately the only product that hasn't been replaced and it's not for any reason, other than - I'm constantly trying new toners and very rarely replace any that I review, as there is always another one waiting to be tried and written about.

4.

benefit GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL:

benefit GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL has been, literally a "brow" changer for me and even when the end of the pencil appears and you know it can't last forever,(even though you wished it would) it still comes as a shock. After saying that and considering it's a daily used product, it does last a good long while.

5.

Collection Lasting perfection Concealer:

I currently have as stash of this concealer, as unfortunately its not available in South Africa.
I have written a series of blog posts on budget concealers and this certainly is my tops in terms of both price and effectiveness and if you can get your hands on one it really won't disappoint.

Hopefully I will write more posts in the future about my 'recent empties" as long as I can remember not be too eager to throw the empties away...
