GLAMGLOW BRIGHTEYES {REVIEW}

GLAMGLOW burst onto the South African beauty scene in mid 2017 with an
array of their now iconic MUD face masks.Born and bred in sunny California
GLAMGLOW is a skincare range that offers more than just face masks.

Having never tried any of their masks, I couldn't comment as
to whether the Gravity Mud defies gravity or even if the Thirsty Mud quenches a
dehydrated skin and I doubt that I will ever find out, as I must confess
their collection of face masks just doesn't appeal to me and quite honestly
 seem a little gimmicky.

However it's a different story for their GLAMGLOW BRIGHTEYES as my interest was
piqued from their overseas September 2019 launch, so much so,
it was added to my overseas shopping list for my trip to the UK/Dubai in September.
Unfortunately little did I know that this product would be so difficult to get my little
grubby (not really) beauty hands on.
Beauty Editors, Celebrities and Beauty Bloggers around the world had given
"Glowing" reviews (excuse the pun) on this rose gold pot of eye goodness.

Everywhere I went in the UK was "Sold Out" and apparently 700 units sold on the
first day of launch and 600 units on the second day in SEPHORA.
Alas I came back empty handed and my plan B was soon put into action as my
"London Kiddiewink" was due over in December and I managed to have one
delivered to him once they came back into stock.

Despite many beauty boffs now claiming that an eye cream is not necessary,
I have always used a separate product for around the eye area since
I was around 20 and I have absolutely
no regrets and to this day I still recommend that you use a specialised eye cream
rather than be tempted to you use your face creams over the eye area.

I do however understand that face cream formulas have changed over the years
and now some can be used safely around the eye, but for treating the delicate eye area,
eye creams/gels/serums are still a twice daily must for me.

BRIGHTEYES is an illuminating eye cream formulated with a wonderful cocktail of
effective peptides, caffeine and an intense infusion of hyaluronic acid
to instantly brighten dark circles and reduce visible signs of fatigue around the eyes
for a super well-rested, glowing look.

ILLUMINATING SPHERES : Instantly brighten dark circles around eyes.
CAFFEINE : Energizes and revitalizes dull, tired-looking eyes.
HYALURONIC ACID : Plumps and hydrates all day.
PEPTIDES :Help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the
entire eye area.

GLAMGLOW BRIGHTEYES
can be used daily and not only around the eye area but over the eyelids also.

Besides liking the pretty rose gold pot I also enjoyed the eye cream thanks to its creamy
nourishing, yet lightweight formula. I found it quickly absorbed and was an absolute pleasure to apply.

The brightening aspect of this product thanks to the Illuminating Spheres was,
for me, noticeable and I do love any light reflecting or illuminating ingredients in my
face and eye products.
I happily experienced my overall eye area to have a more relaxed, rested and
dare I say it, more youthful in appearance, so if you feel that you
always look fatigued around the eye area, then this is an eye cream to consider,
as it targets that issue along with all the usual anti-ageing benefits required
from a good eye cream.

After using the eye cream for over 10 weeks, I'm hesitant to make a claim that my
dark circles have improved, but that's always a difficult ask of any eye product.
What I will claim is that this eye cream works out to be very cost effective, as I still have
3/4 of the pot left after 2 applications per day, which I would say is pretty good going
for an eye cream.

After only a couple of applications I soon realised what all the frenzy over this
 eye cream was about.
Sadly though GLAMGLOW South Africa are not launching this product, so a
trusted "Cosmetic Mule" will be needed if you want this product.

I will continue and finish the jar and as always I will give you further feedback
if needed in a future Friday Feedback post.

Let me know in the comments below if you have tried the BRIGHTEYES or a
GLAMGLOW Mask, as maybe now is the time I should give one of their masks a try...
