URBAN DECAY NAKED RELOADED PALETTE #TBT REVIEW

Sadly URBAN DECAY withdrew from the South African market during the
2nd half of 2020 and I for one was sad about it, as I was a fan of UD and have reviewed and
loved many of their products.
My review on the NAKED RELOADED palette dates back to April 2019, so prices
will have changed.

~~~~~~
After several weeks of use, I've finally managed to put down into words my feelings about this
"super hyped" eyeshadow palette.
Never a brand to follow the generic brand packaging norm,
URBAN DECAY recently launched their NAKED RELOADED
Palette and when it comes to the packaging, this cushioned fabric Orchid print palette not only
looks trés chic, but it also feels weighty and very comfortable in the hand.
Sadly the birth of the new NAKED RELOADED followed the demise of the globally and much loved original NAKED Palette.
It was a sad moment for many URBAN DECAYERS, but thankfully it has been replaced with a
 collection of 12 "must have" universally flattering shades in a palette thats been designed for everyone
any age, gender, and skin tone.
If you're looking for a collection of flattering shades that will cover all your essential
 nude/neutral/brown requirements plus a little extra, then this is the ultimate palette to have in your eyeshadow collection.
The selection includes soft mattes, satins, metallics and a little sparkly glitter is thrown in
for good measure...
I'm also happy to report that UD have included 4 larger outer pans of the lighter shades,
that are used the most for highlighting and inevitably, on any eyeshadow palette, they always
finish before the others.
After a couple of months of use I can excitedly report back that the formula of these shadows fall
into that buttery, velvety texture with a rich colour payoff and are easy to blend and work with.
One piece of advise though - do ensure that you tap any excess shadow off you brush before
application, as there will be shadow fall out, but its nothing that isn't easily brushed away with
 out leaving any pigment behind.
The longevity of the shadow was good with no creasing or fading, however I have become an
 unexpected and huge fan of the URBAN DECAY Eyeshadow Potion
to read my full review
and without doubt it helps to keep your eyeshadows in place all day.
All of the 12 shades are very wearable and I have surprisingly found myself using
all of the shades at some point, but reaching daily for the following ones:
Bribe
Barely There
Reputation
Burn
Distilled
Boundaries
&
Blur
 and for a slightly more evening,shimmery smokey eye look I just add a touch of:
Barely Baked
Angel Fire
End Game
&
Dreamweaver
It's known, here in south Africa, that UD Eyeshadow Palettes generally weigh in on the pricey side, usually around R800-R900, however the NAKED RELOADED weighs in at a much more
appealing price of R695.
 This palette is not only worth its "Super Hyped" status, but its got to be
the NAKED Palette to own above all others.
BYTERRY OMBRE BLACKSTAR COLOUR-FIX CREAM EYESHADOW {REVIEW}
This is one of those products that has me wondering
"where have you been all my life"
Having never been a fan of cream eyeshadows before, I've even surprised myself as to how much I love this one from BYTERRY, obviously I was previously trying the wrong ones.
BYTERRY OMBRE BLACKSTAR CREAM EYESHADOW
has been my go to eyeshadow for over month now and the reason why I
haven't picked up any of my usual much loved eyeshadow palettes.
The only 2 products that I have used and still am using from BYTERRY
are their Cellularose Brightening CC Serum and Baume de Rose.
If you would like to read more as to why I adore these two products so much
then click on the Pink Links below.
Just a heads up : both of these products have been listed on my
Top 10 Skincare Products of 2019,
 which will be posted on my blog very soon.
This easy-to-use (and it really is) eyeshadow pen contains Tahitian black pearl extracts, allowing the stretchy formula to glide smoothly and effortlessly onto eyelids in a single stroke.
 The light reflecting formula brightens and lifts eyelids and as a mature user I need all the help I can get, especially from eye products.
The adhesive polymers work to hold colour so that it lasts all day long without smudging,smearing or creasing.In my opinion its this somewhat unique formula that sets the BYTERRY cream eyeshadow apart from the rest that I've tried and disliked.
Its buttery, satin smooth, beautifully pigmented and quite simply makes applying eyeshadow a breeze, even for the novice.
The OMBRE BLACKSTAR is available in 6 shades and I was sent the beautiful
Bronze Moon, which was perfect for me, but I actually think this shade would be flattering on everyone.
There are several ways in which to apply this cream shadow and I found on those lazy days a quick sweep along the baseline of the lashes  gave a flawless eyeliner look, or on the days where I wanted to a quick easy smoky eye effect I smudged with my fingertips towards the eyebrows.
With one of the lighter shades, which I plan to purchase soon, you can apply as a wash
of colour directly with fingertips all over the eyelid area.
As I'm sure you can tell I'm excited about this product, as I once steered away from
cream eyeshadows and I could now kick myself for overlooking this type of eyeshadow
format, but as I said earlier I must have been trying the wrong brands.
So far I have tried three BYTERRY products and I've been blown away by all of them,
so expect more reviews from this brand during the year.
Oh! to give you another heads up, this OMBRE BLACKSTAR Cream Eyeshadow has already
been added to my list of Top Make-Up Products for 2020 and we're still in January
but that's how much I love my cream eyeshadow pen and its keeper for a long time to come...
