MONDAYS MOVE IN OR MOVE ON

Here are a couple of my empties that I finished recently and I like to let you know whether they're "moving on" or "moving in" to my beauty life.
Obviously some products have to move on in order to allow me to try out more, this way I can let you guys know whether they're worthy of a purchase or not.

First up is a product that I really enjoyed using, The L'Occitane Shea Whipped Shower Foam
is just one product in the Shea Whipped range, but I have to say its taken me so long to finish and the reason for that has nothing to do with it being a long lasting product, but has more to do with me using it sparingly or when I felt my body needed some gentle cleansing TLC.

L'Occitane Shea Whipped Shower Foam

I wrote my original review last year read here, but unfortunately it is "moving on" as for me it isn't a necessary purchase but rather a "nice to have" expensive purchase.
However if you have very dry, sensitive skin and your budget allows then it would be a "must have".
I also found that I could have quite easily finished this product in about 12-18 uses, which for the price really doesn't make this economical or viable to use on a daily basis.
So sadly this is "moving on".
(This collection was a Limited Edition,so it may well be unavailable in some countries)

Next up is the Clarins 3 Dot Eyeliner read my review which I have repurchased several times over the past couple of years.

Clarins 3 Dot Liner

The Clarins 3 Dot Eyeliner gave me the confidence to use a liquid eyeliner and I can highly recommend it, if like me you have crepey, lose skin on the eyelid, which unfortunately comes with age or you are a little nervous to use a liquid eyeliner.
Sadly it's time for this product to 'move on" to make way for the

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner.

MONTHLY FAVORITES {MARCH}

The first quarter of 2015 is over and now we head into the second quarter, which for countries in the Northern hemisphere means its Spring, whilst in South Africa we head into the nicest time of the year with regards to the weather, especially here in Durban on the Kzn coast.

Here are a couple of my "standout" favourite things from March.
Enjoy!

1.

Crystal Barn in the Natal Midlands was such a refreshing place to visit and I will certainly be back
to savour some more in the near future.

L'OCCITANE SHEA WHIPPED BODY COLLECTION

In my opinion L'Occitane en Provence are the leaders when it comes to the inclusion, into any of their products, of the magical nourishing ingredient Shea, after all they were one of the first cosmetic companies to incorporate Fair Trade Shea Butter and have been successfully doing so for over 25 years.
Mention the words Shea or Shea Butter and it immediately conjures up products that are, comforting, intensely nourishing and moisturising. I was intrigued with this latest Limited edition to the L'Occitane Shea range,
all because of one word..."Whipped" or Chantilly in French.
Could this be a range that many men and women  have been craving for in many parts of the world?
I for one, living in a warmer, humid climate sometimes find body and face products containing Shea a little too rich and prefer to keep those products for the cooler winter months or trips away to a colder clime.
(L'Occitane proudly announce the percentage of Shea in each product on the front of the packaging you will always see the % in a blue circle, which is a great help, as the higher the percentage the more nourishing the product.
The Shea Butter in the tin for example is 100% Shea, whereas the Shea Lip Balm only contains 10% and their infamous Shea Hand Cream has a 25% Shea content)

The new Shea Whipped Body Collection consists of several products, of which I was sent three to try out for this review.

As expected there is a Shea Whipped Hand Cream, that leaves the tube in a star shape and is most definitely like Chantilly cream, beautifully whipped, light and velvety smooth on the hands, which considering its 25% Shea content is just remarkable, but again they are the experts in the creation of Hand Creams!

Whipped Hand Cream R120 30ml

I would have been very surprised at the exclusion of a Whipped Body Cream, but again as expected its not been forgotten and this mousse like texture is packed into the familiar tin presentation. This is my personal 'fave" as the texture is so light yet provides such moisturising power and is just perfect for those summer months, as it only contains 10% Shea.

Whipped Body Cream R340 125mls

A new product format for L'Occitane is an enriched Shea Whipped Shower Foam, that again is like applying whipped cream from a canister, not only does it cleanse the body, but leaves your skin feeling comfortable and baby soft.
I must mention at this point that all of these products have the most wonderful, clean, baby like fragrance, which is delicate and unobtrusive.

I have to say that L'Occitane have done it again and I for one am very happy that I don't need to wait for the colder, dryer weather to enjoy the daily comforts of using their Shea body products.
Launched this past week, why not pop into one of their many boutiques countrywide and try these beautifully textured products for yourself. Also check out the other products in the collection.
The consultants will only be too happy to demonstrate and advise and they may just have a stunning Gift with Purchase on at the moment!

P.S This is a Limited Edition Collection, so if you like it Buy It...
