REN PERFECT CANVAS CLEAN JELLY OIL CLEANSER {REVIEW}

It's been some time since I reviewed a skincare product from

REN

and whilst I have a couple of favourites, its not a "go to" brand for me.

This

PERFECT CANVAS CLEAN JELLY OIL CLEANSER

was an inclusion in one of my COSMETIPS Influencer edits and I have

been putting it to the test for the past few weeks.

Formulated to deep clean your complexion this gentle yet effective

 cleansing treatment is clinically proven to remove waterproof makeup, pollution and SPF.

It's one of those magical tri-phase cleansers that starts off as a thick gel

 and then transforms into a rich oil as you work

 it into dry skin and finally, with the addition of water, it turns

into a milky consistency.

The key ingredients are:

Grapeseed Oil known for its antioxidant and soothing properties, 

helps protect against free radicals.

Sunflower Seed Oil protects skin's natural moisture barrier to prevent

 continued dryness.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil helps replenish skin's barrier with essential fatty 

acids Omega 3 and 6.

It's super easy to use and incorporate into your existing

skincare routine and can be used by all skin types.

Just work the jelly into dry skin and feel it turn into a rich oil that 

dissolves make-up, SPF and pollution. 

Splash water and the oil turns into a milky emulsion to wash away dirt

 and impurities and leaves a beautiful hydrated finish on the skin.

Whilst I have enjoyed using this cleanser and it does everything you

require from a cleanser and leaves your skin perfectly primed

for the rest of you skincare products, 

Honestly I wasn't blown away enough to re-purchase and the

100% natural fragrance didn't do it for me either, as it 

reminded me of almonds & marzipan.

It also comes in rather pricey for a relatively small amount of

100ml and if you have followed me for sometime now,

you know that I'm not shy to spend on skincare products, but I'm

not sure that this price point is sustainable for me in the long term.

TATA HARPER REGENERATING CLEANSER {REVIEW}

 This will be my 3rd product review of 

TATA HARPER 

skincare products and so far we've had one hit and one miss.

The Regenerating Cleanser

is a daily cleansing & exfoliating treatment that buffs and polishes 

for radiant, healthy looking skin.

 Best for dull, uneven, or congested skin.

This type of exfoliating daily cleanser appeals to me greatly,

especially if its a combined chemical and physical cleanser

which I'm happy to say that this is...

This creamy cleanser provides both physical and chemical exfoliation

 with apricot microspheres and BHA from white willow bark to give 

you a healthy looking, radiant glow.

I must make mention that the physical element is very gentle and

suitable for sensitive skins.

And just for good measure 

100% of the total ingredients are from natural origin.

80 % of the total ingredients are from Organic Farming.

COSMOS ORGANIC certified by Ecocert Greenlife

For best results, apply to dry skin and massage gently to 

activate and polish.

 Rinse thoroughly with warm water. 

Can be used daily AM & PM.

It can be used on all skin types.

This was, without doubt, one of the best smelling cleansers 

I've ever used, it was naturally fresh and citrusy and truthfully

 it lifted my mood instantly,

 whilst on the cleansing/exfoliating front it 

performed pretty well also.

My skin felt beautifully cleansed, yet not stripped or in need of

too much re-hydration.

I cannot comment too much on the de-congestion aspect of 

this cleanser, as my skin doesn't suffer from that.

I just know that as a combined cleansing and exfoliating

daily cleanser it buffed and brightened my skin and

if you are looking for a natural organic, yet luxury skincare brand,

 then you cannot go wrong with TATA HARPER and this cleanser

would be a perfect product to start with....

BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {AUGUST 2022}

Due to me having several product reviews to write and post for

you I've decided to give myself some breathing space, hence I have 

only 2 products to review this month, however both are from skincare

brands that I have haven't tried before.

One is from a proudly South African skincare brand and the other

product is from a USA brand and both have lovely entrepreneurial

back stories.

SOY FACE CLEANSER

This is a brand that I have not used anything from before and

despite hearing some good things about certain of their

products, I will have to do some research about the ethos

of the brand.

This Soy Face Cleanser was a product from my John Lewis's

Beaut Advent Calendar and I do enjoy trying a brand for the first time.

 This universal face wash has been proven to maintain skin’s pH while also cleansing, softening, and hydrating all skin types & tones.

It's been formulated to remove make-up and cleanse both the face 

and the eye area.

ANTI-POLLUTION

MASK

Again this is a first for me and this full size Comfort+ Anti-Pollution Mask

 was an inclusion in a South African magazine beauty edit box from

 mid 2021 and I've checked the expiry and luckily its good till mid 2023.

ENVIRON was founded in South Africa over 30 years ago and has 140

products on offer and is available in over 70 countries.

This multi tasking Anti-Pollution face mask will be put to the test 

and I'll revert with my thoughts soon.
