FENTY BEAUTY GLOSS BOMB LIP LUMINIZER {REVIEW}

Being only my 3rd product that I'm reviewing from
FENTY BEAUTY
I'm expecting great things, as I absolutely love the
Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint click here and their
Full Frontal Volume & Lift mascara click here isn't too shabby either.

This GLOSS BOMB LIP LUMINIZER
was part of an influencer beauty edit that I bought in
the UK last year, so it wasn't a specific purchase and probably
would not have been one that I would have made.

This universal lip luminizer delivers explosive shine in shades that
flatter all skin tones.
One swipe of Gloss Bomb’s XXL wand leaves lips looking instantly
 fuller and smoother.

The non-sticky formula is super shiny, and has an addictive peach-vanilla
scent you just can't get enough of.
Apparently Rihanna was obsessed with creating
the perfect gloss that makes you want to put it on over and over again.
The shade I received was FENTY GLOW, which is a liquid shimmering
sheer rose nude with a high shine.
I was very sceptical about the gold/bronze shade, as this shade would
not be one that I would choose, but don't be put off as
it's a very flattering either worn alone, which is how I wear it the
most or over any other lipstick shade.

Since the beginning of March it has been my go to everyday and I'm
loving both the shade and formula and one I would highly
recommend if you are looking for an easy to wear, pretty,
hint of a tint lip gloss.
RIHANNA's obsession could well have paid off, as she has created
an excellent rose nude Lip Gloss...

FENTY BEAUTY EAZE DROP BLURRING SKIN TINT {REVIEW}

Once the launch frenzy of FENTY died down here in South Africa
I popped into the Gateway ARC Store to check out a couple of products
and also take a closer look at what FENTY BEAUTY had to offer.
I've previously reviewed the FENTY Full Frontal Volume & Control Mascara
which I enjoyed very much read review here

The main aim of my visit to ARC was to check out the Korean brand
ERBORIAN and their infamous CC CREAM,
which I did and quickly reeled back at a R820 price tag.

Over to check out FENTY and the consultant was quick to pick up
on my ERBORIAN disappointment and offered to colour match my
skin with the FENTY EAZE DROP, which is a blurring skin tint.
Before I knew it I was sitting at the ARC bar having the EAZE DROP
matched and applied and I just knew then that I was going to love it.

Rihanna wanted to create a light coverage, easy-to-apply, flexible skin tint
that instantly evens out your complexion and give a flattering blurred effect.
Eaze Drop, with hydrating QuickBlur complex, is perfect for a no-makeup
makeup look, or for when you want to look effortlessly put together.

They have a great selection of 25 adaptable shade options to
blur and perfect all skin tones
My shade is number 8 a light medium shade with warm undertones,
which is perfect for winter, but I think I'll get re-matched for summer.

It layers well with skincare or a primer and can be applied easily and gives a
lovely finish to the skin whether you use your fingers, a brush or a
beauty sponge.
As the name suggests the product is dispensed with EAZE and the
squeezy container allows control over the amount of drops you use.

It offers a light to medium coverage, it's as light as air and blends
beautifully and more importantly it looks just as good at the end of the
day as when I first applied thanks to its
humidity, sweat, and transfer-resistant formula, which is ideal for
the Durban climate.
It's hydrating, comfortable and weightless on the skin, so much so that
you actually forget you have any product on.
I found it to smooth the skin whilst blurring those imperfections and was
one of the best products that I have ever tried for that no
make-up, make-up look.
Ideal if you are not an avid wearer of foundation, but just require some
extra help with evening out the complexion.
It's easy to apply and above all, super flattering, especially for a
mature skin.
Rhianna did a good job with the EAZE DROP as it's all she wanted it
to be and I highly recommend you check this product out.

BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {JUNE 2022}

I have just 3 products "Under Review" this month, the one being a
make-up item, that wasn't even on my radar, a lip balm simply because
I'm a lip balm junkie and a cleanser from a brand that I have admired
from afar.
As always I will be bringing my full reviews during the month of June.
Please let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of
the above as I would love to read your thoughts in the comments below.

1.

FENTY BEAUTY
EAZE DROP
BLURRING SKIN TINT

Not on my beauty radar, but seeing Fenty Beauty launched in Africa just
a few days ago I went along to see what was on offer.
Having only reviewed one product, the Full Frontal Mascara, I'm
keen to put this blurring skin tint to the test that caught my eye.
I was colour matched in store and I walked away with the
perfect shade no.8.

2.

KATE SOMERVILLE
EXFOLIKATE
CLEANSER

I don't think I have reviewed a Kate Somerville product before,
but I am aware of the brand, so I was very happy to
find this gentle exfoliating cleanser behind one of the doors in my
 2021
John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar.

3.

URIAGE
EAU THERMALE
MOISTURISING LIPSTICK

For those that have been around Beauty Shout Box for many
years will know that I have a weakness for lip balms and have
posted many reviews here on my blog, well there will be one
more added very soon in the form of this offering from the French
brand URIAGE.

FENTY BEAUTY FULL FRONTAL VOLUME AND CURL MASCARA #TBT REVIEW

As always, when I review a product from a brand for the first time I
like to give you some background to that brand and whilst I'm sure most of us
have heard of Rihanna the singer but what about her beauty brand
Fenty Beauty By Rihanna

Fenty Beauty (stylized as FEИTY BEAUTY) is a cosmetics brand launched in
September 2017 by singer Rihanna.
The brand is popular for its broad inclusivity across skin tones and gender,
 especially its Pro Filt'R foundation.
The original foundation launch included 40 shades, since expanded to 50.
The inclusion of Fenty Beauty concealer includes 50 shades offering a wide
 variety to all skin types.
The intent behind having so many shades to offer is to differentiate from other
makeup companies that do not cater to a broad market.
Fenty Beauty was named one of Time magazine's best inventions of 2017.

As you can imagine this new beauty kid on the block has been a huge
success and whilst I'm not normally attracted to "Celebrity" brands
her latest mascara launch caught my eye at the end of 2109

Fenty Beauty By Rihanna Full Frontal Volume,
Lift & Curl Mascara

"The ultimate do-it-all mascara designed for a fully exposed lash look,
featuring an exclusive flat-to-fat brush that instantly volumizes, lifts,
lengthens, and curls.
Get full-on lashes like never before with Full Frontal Volume,
Lift & Curl Mascara.
Designed to deliver Rihanna’s full lash look, Full Frontal’s do-it-all
formula is clinically proven* to volumize, lengthen, lift & curl lashes,
exposing every little lash with eye-opening definition"
WoW who doesn't want full-on eyelashes like Rihanna?
and being a bit of a"mascara junkie" my interest was piqued and it
was soon added to my
"Beauty Radar" list and I was lucky to be in Dubai earlier this year
and SEPHORA obliged me with this indulgence of a mascara.

The outer packaging is immediately appealing, as is the black and rose gold wand. The product has a quality look and feel to it, which I was happy to see.
Full Frontal’s lightweight, ultra black formula was specifically paired with an exclusive flat-to-fat brush:

The FAT side holds max product to quickly load and lift lashes.
Use the FAT side to load and lift, wiggling at the base of your lashes
 to build volume.

The FLAT side defines and curls and thanks to the round, pointed tip.
Use the FLAT side to comb through and define, curl, and separate.
Finally use the pointed tip to coat the hardest-to-reach lashes in the
 inner corners.

Initially I fiddled around trying to use the FAT side and then the FLAT side,
but to be honest I soon fell into the habit of just picking up the wand
and applying as I would any other mascara.
Full Frontal does build easily giving you plenty of playtime to layer,
define, separate and whatever it is you need to do to create the look
you want without being clumpy or thick on the lashes.
I found it to be longwearing, smudgeproof, water-resistant and is
 100% Cruelty Free.

Whilst I enjoyed using this Jet black mascara and loved both the effect
and look of my lashes, when I took the time with application,
I can't say that it gave my lashes any extra volume, curl or definition
than some of my other favourite mascaras.
I have compiled a list of My Top 5 Mascaras with full reviews,
if you want to check out which mascaras I recommend.

The bottom line:
This mascara is without doubt good and delivers on its claims,
however it does come in quite pricey
(especially now with the Rand exchange rate)
and I'm not sure that you are getting a better product than
several of the great L'Oréal mascaras that I rave about and they all
come in at a more budget friendly price.
However if you are a Rihanna devotee then this mascara
 won't disappoint.
