BIODERMA SENSIBIO H2O MAKE-UP REMOVING MICELLE SOLUTION #TBT REVIEW

I wrote this original review back in 2020 and this Micellar Water has been
my go to ever since.
After trying and reviewing many Micellar Waters here on BSB this one from
Bioderma really is my absolute favourite, so much so, that I try to buy when
 I see either a 3 for 2 or a discount promo on, so I always have a back-up
ready and that in itself is a sign of a good product.
I also like the fact that they have a variety of sizes which enables you
to purchase a smaller size to try out before opting for the more economical
 larger 250 or 500ml sizes.

*I have listed below some current offers that are running*
~~~~~~
No doubt there have been thousands of reviews written about the
BIODERMA Micellar Water, but never one by me, so I think it's true to say
 I'm very late to the party with this one.
This BIODERMA product has been around for an "age" 25 years to be precise
 and it was the first micellar water that I was ever aware of, yet despite this,
I'm only trying it now for the first time.
I have reviewed many Micellar Waters here on Beauty Shout Box ranging
from the most infamous and affordable options from Garnier
(which I do highly rate) through to some mid range and higher priced
French brand offerings.
The BIODERMA Sensibio range is a collection of products that are often
recommended by Dermatologists and is dedicated to Sensitive skin, that's a
skin that experiences tingling, overheating, tightness, feelings of
discomfort and redness.
Even though I don't have a ongoing sensitive skin, this particular
micellar water was best suited for my skin type, as they do have a
selection on offer.
In case you've never used a Micellar Water here's a brief rundown;
No Rinse Micellar waters remove all traces of make-up, sebum and various
other impurities without stripping or damaging skin, all in one step.
Micellar water is perfect for your daily cleansing routine.
Use in the morning and at night to gently cleanse while respecting even the
 most sensitive epidermal skin.
The BIODERMA ones are hypoallergenic and contain no alcohol and parabens
and preserve the skin's hydrolipidic film.
I'm not sure why I've waited so long to try this micellar water from
BIODERMA and its safe to say 'it's been my loss", as I feel I have finally
found my ideal micellar water.
The key to the BIODERMA's success is the formula and the action of
those important Micelles that are responsible for attracting all kinds
of impurities onto the cotton wool pad and its been obvious to me since
using the BIODERMA that there is a noticeable difference over others
that I've previously used.
It's fragrance free, it effectively and gently removes the heaviest of
make-up (including eye make-up) and leaves no residue or feeling of
tightness on the skin.
I have found myself reaching for this one, more often than any other
I have used, as it's so easy to pick up and cleanse my skin in the morning
and again as a first cleanse in the evening.
There is a reason, as to why one bottle of this award winning
BIODERMA SENSIBIO
Make-Up Removing Micelle Solution
is sold every 3 seconds world wide and that's because its good, in fact
its very good and I seriously regret not trying it much sooner...
SUNDAY SAMPLE
If you follow me over on Instagram you will already know that I received
this NUXE VERY ROSE 3-in-1 Soothing Micellar Water in a
MODERN Beauty Box last week
Technically this size 40ml of product is classed as a Travel size rather than
sample size and it should last me a good few days ensuring that I can
thoroughly this Micellar Water to the test.
However with a cleansing product I can generally tell after a couple of
uses if it's a good one or not...
Having reviewed many Micellar Waters here on Beauty Shout Box, ranging
from the most infamous and affordable options through to some mid range
 and higher priced French offerings,
I have finally settled on my favourite micellar water of all time, the
 BIODERMA H20 SENSIBIO
To read other
 So will this product from NUXE be able to knock the iconic
BIODERMA one of its Micellar pedestal?
Check back next Sunday to find out.
RECENT BEAUTY EMPTIES {FEB 2021}
 I have 4 empty beauty products to show you in this post and whilst the one
 is somewhat of a golden oldie, as I have re-purchased it several times over
the years, I don't think I've ever mentioned it in a
Recent Beauty Empties post.
The other 3 products are all purchases made in 2020 that have now come
to an end and the question is "would I re-purchase"?
1.
BIODERMA
SENSIBIO H2O
MAKE-UP REMOVING
MICELLE SOLUTION
I hold my hands up to this one, I was soo slow on the uptake
with this award winning Micellar Water that I'm highly embarrassed
about the fact and as I say in my original review I don't really
know why. What I do now know is that it's been my loss over the
past 25 years, yes that's how long it has been around.
This product is deserving of all the accolades and praise,
as it's good, it's very good.
Whilst a re-purchase is most definitely on the cards I do have a couple
of other Micellar Waters that I would like to check out in the near future.
2.
NUXE
RÊVE DE MIEL
LIP MOISTURISING STICK
I reviewed this lip balm back in June 2020 and it was one of my very few
lockdown beauty treats and as I say in my review I was a little
disappointed at the time of writing, as it wasn't as good as its pot version.
I did however finish it pretty quickly, which means that I must have
enjoyed it and I did enjoy, but my lips were not overly dry or in need
 of TLC at the time.
Would I buy another, most probably not.
3.
GATINEAU
GENTLE SILK CLEANSER
Over recent years I have switched up my cleansing routine, which has led
to a change in the type of cleansers that I have been buying.
Normally this cleanser would have featured on my Recent Empties
post much sooner, but I find that I'm not using a milky cleanser
as often these days.
This is a beautiful cleanser and as I say in my review it holds,
as does the brand, a special place in my beauty heart.
There's no hesitation from me in recommending this product to those
that love a luxurious, soothing and effective cleanser.
4.
REN
MOROCCAN ROSE OTTO
BATH OIL
Several bottles of this beautifully fragrant bath oil down and I
can't remember ever including it in my empties post, so after originally
reviewing it back in December 2017, it finally makes an appearance.
That fact that I've made several re-purchases since than says it all,
but sadly I don't think I will buy again.
The reason for this decision is simply due to there being so many beautiful
 fragrant bath products available now to luxuriate and wallow in,
 I find myself reaching less and less for this bath oil, so I feel it's time to give
the REN MOROCCAN ROSE Bath Oil a little break,
whilst I discover others.
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of the above and of
course any thoughts, as I would love to hear.
