VICTORIA BECKHAM PRE AUTUMN 2015 BAG COLLECTION

Victoria Beckham has just launched her Pre Autumn Winter 2015 collection of leather bags.

On my recent trip to London I visited her newly opened stand alone store in Dover Street, which just happens to sit very comfortably alongside neighbours Christian Louboutin and Jimmy choo, It was my idea of fashion heaven right there.
The leather goods on display both smell and feel as good as they look and yes....I was smelling the leather and enjoying my touchy-feely session.

Unfortunately I couldn't afford to buy one item not even a VB keyring, so I had had to be content with window shopping or should I say window smelling!

Here are some of my faves, but you can go online to check out more bag beauties...

VICTORIA BECKHAM NAIL COLOURS

Style Icon Victoria Beckham and her three year old daughter Harper Seven Beckham can often be found at their "fave" nail salons having "manis and pedis" together.
It's reported that the fashionista even sends her dog for "paw pedicures."
With her love for all things girly and especially nails, it seemed logical that at some stage she would launch a nail colour range and guess what... She has!

In December 2014 she launched a Limited Edition luxury nail colour collection in collaboration with Nails Inc. who just happen to be my best polish brand of all time.....can this get any better?

Well it seems not, as for now, there are only two shades, the one being a tomato/orange shade called Judo Red and the other a pale shade named Bamboo White.

Judo Red

Bamboo White

The nail polish comes in typical stylish VB black and white packaging and is inspired by the designer's upcoming Victoria Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2015.

Designed by Fabien Baron and Victoria Beckham, each bottle comes in matte black and matte white, and is created with fine Venetian glass, and is hand-frosted to leave a subtle reveal window.
Bamboo extract helps nails regain their natural shine, reduces nail ridges and imperfections, and promotes nail growth. Stretch-To-Fit technology is an elastic-like polymer that provides a flexible, self-leveling finish and increases the stretching and tensing properties of the polish. The result is color that glides onto the nail and fits every contour, ensuring a perfectly smooth application.
I have no doubt that the quality will be exceptional considering the tie in with Nails Inc.
but do they warrant a price tag of £25?
Whether they do or not you can be sure of one thing...they will sell like "hot cakes" or should I say "hot nails".

After all.. If Christian Louboutin can sell his nail colours for £50, then VB's seem well priced at 25 pounds.

VICTORIA BECKHAM OPENS HER FLAGSHIP STORE IN LONDON

VB 36,Dover St,Mayfair,London

Even though I remember the Spice Girls era well..mention the name Victoria Beckham and fashion designer immediately springs to my mind, before the "all girl" band of the 90's.
I love her style and hence I adore her fashion and accessories (especially her leather bags).
On the 25th September 2014 saw Victoria Beckham open her first store in Mayfair London.
The 6,000 square foot shop is spread over 3 floors and by all accounts it's simply stunning.
It reflects her modern and contemporary style perfectly and allows her designs to truly take centre stage in the minimalistic boutique. Some have even described the retail space as having an exhibition feel.
As you can imagine the queues were forming long before opening and those tills were "ringing" non stop
(actually Victoria thinks tills and cash registers are ugly,so all sales are rung up on sleek iPads)
I for one will make a point of visiting 36 Dover Street on my next trip to London, which just happens to be next door to Jimmy Choo, but as usual being Rand poor means
I will have to adopt the attitude of

"it's better to have been and seen, than never been at all"

(I have it on good authority that the cheapest item in the shop is an embossed key ring
£165 approx R3,009)
Here are some photos...
Enjoy!

VICTORIA BECKHAM COLLECTION 2014

You have to agree that the women behind the most famous pout in the world Victoria Beckham does create some wonderful leather bags and clothes for that matter.
So love her or hate her....
here are three of my of absolute "loves" from her new Spring Summer 2014 range.
Each bag is made from the finest and softest leathers whether it be Buffalo or calf leather.
Great attention to detail is taken into consideration with regard to the strap lengths, magnetic clasps and stitching, however this all comes at a price. Matching small pouches are made to partner the handbag and add the price of both items, together with our poor exchange rate (approximately R18 for £1) and we are looking in the region at a hefty price tag of R15,000 to R44,000.
This does not stop me from looking and longing....
Enjoy!
