MONTHLY FAVOURITES {JANUARY & FEBRUARY 2023 }

My first Monthly Favourites of 2023 and these 4 products
made for an excellent start to the year.
In order to read my original reviews click on the Pink Links below.

1.

ORIGINS
DRINK UP INTENSIVE
OVERNIGHT HYDRATING
MASK

I was pleasantly surprised by this mask, I enjoyed the non oily
creamy gel consistency, the fresh
fragrance, but most of all I absolutely loved the cooling sensation
on the skin and if you keep it in the fridge it's super refreshing and
calming on hot days.
I love the fact that it's available in a 20ml size which is perfect
as a travel/introductory size.
if you are searching for an easy overnight, no rinse, leave on mask
 that gives your skin a power shot drink of both
nourishment and hydration then this is
THE ONE
and if you are time poor, when it comes to masking, then this is
DEFINITELY THE ONE
 This has now has found a spot in my every expanding
"Masking Wardrobe".

2.

DERMALOGICA
SKINPERFECT PRIMER
SPF 30

It's a make-up primer, sunscreen and treatment for skin ageing in one.
I was super impressed with this rather unassuming product that
Illuminates+Primes+Protects.
The texture of this product is quite unique as it has a velvety mousse
feel, which glides across the face beautifully and makes
for easy application.
I love a multi functional product and it's especially useful if you are
time strapped or just having a lazy skincare day, and I have many
of those during Summer.
3.

RITUALS
RITUAL OF AYURVEDA
NOURISHING RICH BODY OIL

As the name suggests this oil is rich, very rich and a little is all
that's needed for skin to be left feeling incredibly nourished and the
fragrance is magnified as the oil warms on your body, so if like me you
 want all the Indian Rose and Sweet Almond scent you can get,
 then this product has it.

4.

TATA HARPER
REGENERATING CLEANSER

This Regenerating Cleanser
is a daily cleansing & exfoliating treatment that buffs and polishes
for radiant, healthy looking skin.
This was, without doubt, one of the best smelling cleansers
I've ever used, it was naturally fresh and citrusy and truthfully
 it lifted my mood instantly.
if you are looking for a natural organic, yet luxury skincare brand,
 then you cannot go wrong with TATA HARPER and this cleanser
would be a perfect product to start with....

BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {MARCH}

 I'm a little late with this post, as we are now on the 5th March,
however that doesn't mean to say that I've don't have
anything exciting to review over the coming weeks and months.
I have 3 skincare and 1 make-up item to try out
and report back to you with my findings.

1.

FENTY BEAUTY
GLOSS BOMB
UNIVERSAL
LIP LUMINIZER

I'm excited to try this luminizing, conditioning, super shiny
 lip gloss in Rihanna's handpicked shade
FENTY GLOW
which she says is a "perfect rose nude" and you can be
sure that I will review this thoroughly, as it makes some
serious claims for a lip gloss.

2.

RITUALS
RITUAL OF AYURVEDA
RECOVERY HAND BALM

I must be the biggest fan of RITUALS products here in South Africa
 and it's a real pity that we don't have the brand, as I
believe it would do very well here.
I do know that many of my South African readers travel overseas
 and in fact many of you follow from countries where RITUALS is
easily available and you also share my love for all things
RITUALS.

My favourite ritual is the RITUAL OF AYURVEDA and since I
rate their Smoothing Hand Cream I wanted to try their
Recovery Hand Balm.

3.

SHISEIDO
VITAL PERFECTION
INTENSIVE WRINKLESPOT TREATMENT

This will be my first SHISEIDO skincare product that I am trying
 and it's a brand that I know very little about, so this
means some research along with putting this multi-use spot treatment
 to visibly improve
 deep wrinkles & dark spots in just 4 weeks.* to the test.

4.

AVÈNE
CICALFATE+
PURIFYING CLEANSING GEL

I do love reviewing any AVÈNE product as they very rarely
disappoint and it's my safe, gentle and calming "go to" for skincare.
This cleansing gel was recently launched and I'm intrigued, its been
formulated to cleanse the
Face,Hands,Body and external intimate areas.

RAIN RELAXING NIGHT CREAM #TBT REVIEW

I spoke highly of this night cream (back in May 2022)
 from the South African skincare brand rain and it did make it
onto my list of
Top 11 Skincare products of 2022.
In case you missed this annual post then here's the link

It sat as a Proud South African next to the likes of
SKOON
(another SA brand)
Sisley
By Terry
Augustinus Bader
ELEMIS
and several more well respected international brands, so you
know that this product is amongst some very good "Beauty" company

~~~~~~
Having been a lover of the RAIN bath and body products for many years,
I can now say I'm a huge fan of their face care range.
Launched several years ago, this will be my 4th product review
from their range of 10 products and I have
earmarked a couple more, that I would love to try and bring
you reviews on in the future.
All the products in the range are formulated to synergistically work together
 to create an ideal skincare routine.
The aim of the Rain Skincare range is to:
Maintain good skin condition
Maintain skin health through probiotics
(delivers good bacteria and nutrients to help balance skin)
Provide natural skincare for normal to sensitive skin.
RELAXING NIGHT CREAM
Is a natural relaxing night-time moisturiser, formulated with probiotics
and botanicals known for skin conditioning.
 It's naturally fragranced with lavender and grapefruit essential oils.
 African oils such as Baobab, Marula, Kalahari Melon and Moringa will leave
 skin feeling moisturised and conditioned.
For daily evening skincare routine.
Use after cleansing and toning.
Apply onto face, neck, and décolletage.
Recommended use in combination with RAIN Relaxing Night Serum.
This calming night cream has an ultra-rich and luxurious texture and it's
  the type of texture that's reminiscent of the night creams pre the
cream/gel era.
Despite having a rich texture, which is an absolute pleasure to apply
 to a dry/ very dry skin, it isn't heavy at all.
The skin feels comforted, nourished but more importantly non greasy,
which can be an issue with night creams.
It slotted into my existing skincare product line-up perfectly
and not only does it smell of calming Lavender, but a little goes
a long way and it proved to be very cost effective and it's easily
available either in rain boutiques or online.
This is another face product from rain that is well suited for a mans skin,
 as this collection of face products is one that my hubby really enjoys.
My skin responded well to this night cream and it's one that I would
highly recommend for normal/dry or sensitive skins.
