BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {JANUARY 2022}

I'm not off to a very good start with my postings for 2022,
as it's already the 11th and I'm only now posting my
Currently Under Review post for January, as the saying goes
"Better late than Never".
I have some exciting products to review in 2022, thanks to some
wonderful inclusions in my two Beauty Advent Calendars that
I opened during the course of December.
If any one would like to see my daily openings then head over to my
Instagram account where you will find them both under my
Highlights Reel.
This month I will be reviewing two products that were press drops and
two from my calendars.

1.
AVÈNE
SPF50+
INTENSE PROTECT

This latest sun protection launch from AVÈNE was kindly sent to me
for review back in December and unfortunately missed the inclusion
in my December "Currently Under Review" post, but I have been testing
this product out during the holidays, so you wont have to wait too long
for my full review.
Avène SPF50+ Intense Protect is an innovative lightweight fluid offering
very high UV protection with ultra water resistance.
Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin and babies from
6 months of age.

2.
BYTERRY
BAUME DE ROSE
HAND CREAM

I was so happy and lucky to have the
BYTERRY JEWEL FANTASY Beauty Advent calendar
to open during December, as I've well and truly moved from being
just a fan, to now being obsessed with this French brand.
The Baume de Rose Hand Cream was one of several full sized
products that lay behind the 24 doors and to give you a heads up,
its divine, but I will post my full review very soon explaining why I
love it so much.

3.
RAIN
RELAXING
NIGHT CREAM

Another press drop and the arrival of this night cream was perfect timing,
as my current night cream was nearing the end, so now that it's finished,
tonight will be the first night of me using and as you already know,
I take at least 3 months of use before I publish my full review.
This natural calming and relaxing night-time moisturiser, formulated
with probiotics and botanicals known for skin conditioning, promises
to leave to skin appearing more radiant and even toned and I can't wait.

4.
AROMATHERAPY ASSOCIATES
DE-STRESS MUSCLE
BATH & SHOWER OIL

This was one of several products that made me opt for the
John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar.
Not able to get AROMATHERAPY ASSOCIATES here in South Africa
I have had my eye on this very product, but couldn't bring myself
to pay the Luxe price, so you could imagine my excitement with
it's very welcome inclusion in this particular calendar.
I cannot wait to try and bring you my full review.

Let me know in the comments below if you have used any of the above,
as I would love to know your thoughts...

MONTHLY FAVOURITES {NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2021}

This is the last faves post of 2021 and I have 3 products and a newly
launched range to rave about...

1.

AVÈNE
TOLERANCE CONTROL RANGE

The Tolerance Range was launched recently and I was
lucky enough to receive 3 products to try and not only was I impressed
but my "hubby" was also.

The 2 stars of the "Tolerance Show" were the
Soothing Skin Recovery Balm & Cream.

The range has been formulated to control the skin reactivity of hypersensitive,
intolerant and allergic skin types.
"Hubby" took a liking to the Tolérance CONTROL Cream,
which is more lightweight and immediately soothes stinging, tightness
 and hot flushes.
It hydrates dry, hypersensitive, reactive, intolerant or allergy-prone skin.
It’s the perfect everyday ally to control unpredictable skin reactions for a
more normal to combination skin.

My preference was for the rich soothing recovery balm, which hydrates dry, hypersensitive, reactive, intolerant
or allergy-prone skin and calms the skin in 30 seconds.
This rich moisturiser instantly calms sensitive skin and sensations of tightness,
tingling and discomfort.
The skin is left intensely moisturised and its barrier restored in 48 hours.
Its rich and comfortable texture is particularly recommended for
dry to very dry skin.

If you recognise any of the skin issues above then I highly recommend
this range whether it be for a short or long term use.

2.

CHANEL
LES BEIGES
FRESH WATER TINT

This was my first Chanel purchase and I didn't regret it one little bit.
I had been procrastinating about this product for some time
and I was finally able to get one for free (more is revealed in my full review).
This lightweight, hydrating and instantly refreshing, the ultra-light formula
 is composed of 75% water.
Created with micro fluidic technology, micro-droplets of encapsulated
pigments melt into the skin on contact creating a radiant bare-skin effect.
It provides a softened, smooth finish, for an even complexion.

3.

EVE LOM
RADIANCE FACE MIST

This isn't just another facial spray, its a versatile, effective skincare treatment
in a mist form.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect, yet it turned out to be all that I wanted
it to be and then some.
It's serious skin care in a mist format and it's great as a boost
or top-up for the skin during the day.
I have just come to the end of this face mist and I am seriously considering
the "splurge" on buying a full size one , as I've really enjoyed this product.

4.

RAIN
FACIAL EXFOLIATOR

If I'm honest I wasn't expecting anything outstanding from this product, yet
once again I have been proven wrong, as I have been pleasantly surprised
at how effective this exfoliator is.
I have been reaching for this product more than some of my other
exfoliators and, as I do have several, that speaks volumes as to how
much I'm enjoying it.
Overall it's an affordable, easy to use, effective facial scrub, one that would incorporate seamlessly into anyones existing skin routine and one I recommend.

BYTERRY BAUME DE ROSE BI-PHASE MAKEUP REMOVER {REVIEW}

I was fortunate this year to have two Beauty Advent Calendars to open
and one was the Jewel Fantasy from one of my favourite French brands
BYTERRY.
Whilst there were several product inclusions that I had tried previously,
there were many that I hadn't and the
BYTERRY
Baume de Rose Bi-Phase Make-up Remover
was a new try for me, so I have been using the 30ml travel size for the
past week and here is my review...
Enjoy!

The calendar also included a travel size of the Baume de Rose Micellar Water,
which means that I'm only missing the Baume de Rose Beauty Toner and that's
the pretty toner that includes floating rose petals and is one that I would
love to try and
review for you, as it would complete the Baume de Rose cleansing/toning
 trio above.

This is a liquid, Oil and water-based cleanser makeup remover that has
two phases.  It's Infused with rose oils and has been formulated to
remove waterproof and long-lasting makeup.

This is a super effective makeup remover for all skin types, combining
two phases of oil and water that are mixed together when you shake the bottle.
*Don't forget to shake*
It lifts away makeup effortlessly, even waterproof and longwear formulas,
leaving skin feeling fresh and clean and all in a few sweeps of the cotton pad.
It's leaves a non-greasy, velvety soft finish and has that BYTERRY subtle
distinct rose scent.
Due to the inclusion of vitamin-rich rose oils my skin also felt hydrated
and soft.

My first product review of 2022 has been a good one and
thanks to the Advent calendar expect more BYTERRY product reviews
during the year.
