BY TERRY UV-BASE PRIMER SPF 50 {REVIEW}

I cannot sing the praises enough of the Beauty Advent Calendars that
get launched annually overseas and in particular the 2021 offering
from BY TERRY, it has been such a good one for me, as its introduced
me to so many BY TERRY products that I would never had considered buying.
The BY TERRY UV-BASE PRIMER SPF 50 is one of those products
that wouldn't have been on my BY TERRY radar.

Primers are not high on my beauty agenda and I have only reviewed a
couple over my blogging time, so when I saw this full size inclusion in the
calendar I was interested, but not hugely excited.
That was until I started to do some research and obviously try the product.

This ingenious skin-shielding primer
will PRIME, PERFECT and PROTECT your skin.

2 in 1 prime & protects
High sun protection SPF 50
Broad spectrum UVA & UVB protection
 Translucent / colourless
Perfect base for under makeup application
 Lightweight cream-gel texture
Non-greasy formula

I was actually hooked once I had finished reading all of these benefits,
but above all it was the SPF 50 that really had my attention.
This product is suited to all skin types, the invisible, perfecting formula provides
a high level of broad-spectrum SPF 50 and helps skin fight against external
factors (pollution, UV rays, stress) thanks to antioxidant vitamin E and protective UV filters.
The fresh, lightweight cream gel texture gives a non-greasy, dewy finish,
providing the perfect canvas for all your make up application.
This is the perfect way to slot sunscreen into your regime without any of the
hassle and ensure that your skin has the best protection possible, simply apply
it daily before make up and you’re good to go.
I personally found myself loving this product just as my daily face SPF
irrespective of whether I was applying foundation or not.

Reviewing products on my blog has opened my eyes to so many
wonderful brands and products and I'm still always surprised when I
discover I adore a product that I had convinced myself
that either I won't like or don't need, how wrong I can be...

MONTHLY FAVOURITES {MARCH & APRIL 2022}

I've 3 "stand out" products that I have reviewed during March & April
and it may not come as such a surprise, when you see that 2 of the 3
products are from my "fave" BYTERRY.

1.

BYTERRY
LIQUID LIP BALM

Having already tried, reviewed and loved the other 2 formats of
this cult-classic, I was so happy that this Liquid Lip Balm didn't disappoint.
A liquid version of the Baume de Rose Lip Balm, this Vitamin-rich balm
offers intense moisturising and protection.

The non-sticky, creamy texture leaves a natural, glossy finish and
as expected from the Baume de Rose collection it has that
delicate rose scent, which instantly soothes the senses.
The velvety-rich formula glides on effortlessly and leaves a non-sticky
glossy finish with a subtle shine.
The Lips feel smooth, supple and soft. It also helps to soothe
and repair the condition of dry, chapped lips.
This is a must-have that keeps lips intensely moisturised and
protected whilst on-the-go.
I was expecting great things from the Liquid Lip Balm as it carries a
premium price tag and my "great" expectations thankfully were met...

2.

AROMOTHERAPY ASSOCIATES
DE-STRESS MUSCLE
 BATH & SHOWER OIL

Bath or Shower?
I'm 110% in the Bath camp and I cannot stress how much my
bathing ritual is my absolute "Happy Place".
Despite having nearly bought this oil on several occasions I just couldn't
bring myself to splurge on this ultimate award winning bath product.
Thankfully this full size was part of my John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar
and I couldn't have been happier.

There is a slight difference with this oil as it
is applied directly to the body and not poured into the bath.
Infused with up to 30% pure essential oil blends, just one capful of
Bath & Shower Oil provides a truly therapeutic experience.

What can I say other than this oil is
pure pampering bliss
It relaxes and eases tension, whilst stimulating circulation all at the same time
and of course it smells divine, leaves the skin feeling amazing
and with so many other products in the collection,
this has ignited a passion for AROMATHERAPY ASSOCIATES
and I want more...

BYTERRY
LIP EXPERT
SHINE LIQUID LIPSTICK

Is there any product from BY TERRY that isn't good?
I feel that I have tried and reviewed so many and have still to come
across one that isn't good!
Besides being my perfect shade (Rosy Kisss),
I may have found my absolute favourite lipstick of all time...

The precise doe foot applicator makes application so easy and the buttery
formula glides on beautifully and offers a full coverage in one coat.
I found the rich pigment to be long lasting and above all extremely
comfortable and nourishing on the lips.
I do enjoy a shine finish and this shine formula is the perfect amount,
so I highly recommend you check out the

AUGUSTINUS BADER
THE RICH CREAM

I never thought that I would ever be able to review any of the
AUGUSTINUS BADER products due to the super high price point,
however that changed with my 2021 John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar
as it included this full size The Rich Cream and to be honest it was one
of the products that made me opt for this particular calendar.
My review will only be posted in several months, as you know I like to
fully try and test creams and serums, so there will be no quick review
here and hopefully I have good things to report back to you.

URIAGE
WATERPROOF
EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER

Having always used an eye make-up remover, since as long as I
can remember, I do enjoy a Bi-Phase option and this is what drew
me to this one from the French brand URIAGE.
URIAGE isn't a brand that I haven't explored too much of, so
who knows this product, if good may just whet my appetite to try
more from this affordable brand.

3.

SKIN PROUD
HYDRATING FACIAL MIST

I'm on a little journey with the brand SKIN PROUD, as it's my
3rd product that I'm trying and there's one that I have already
re-purchased and absolutely love. To read my quickie review on the
SKIN PROUD ICICLE COOLING EYE SERUM STICK
I am partial to a facial spray and it was only a matter of time before
I would add this to my collection.

4.

ELEMIS
COOL-DOWN
BODY WASH

I seem to have an ELEMIS product to review for you most months
and May is no exception, as I have a body wash to report back on
and I can already tell you that it smells divine, which is exciting me
greatly and I cannot wait to get stuck into this product.

NUXE
RÊVE DE THÉ
REVITALISING
GRANULAR SCRUB

This was an "out of the blue" purchase for me and it was totally
down to the NUXE consultant, who sold it to me, granted it was a
combo of my favourite things, a very granular scrub and a divine
fragrance. She also caught me, as I was on the look out for a new
body scrub, but I wasn't heading to NUXE for one.
Newly launched I was hooked after one sniff and feel on the back of my hand,
so I can assure you that my review will be full of admiration only.

Let me know in the comments below if you have tried out any of the above,
as I would love to know.
