L'OCCITANE EYES AND LIPS BI-PHASIC MAKE-UP REMOVER {REVIEW}

I've had my "eye" (excuse the pun) on this
L'Occitane
Eyes & Lips
Bi-Phasic Make-up Remover
since it was launched some years back, but I refused to pay the
exorbitant price for such a small quantity.
Fast Track to a couple of months ago and I changed my mind with the
help of a 30% discount, so I finally got to try my favourite type
of eye make-up remover (Bi-Phase) from one of my favourite brands.

This bi-phasic eyes & lips make-up remover is infused with
anti-ageing immortelle and soothing calendula from the south of France,
this ultra-gentle make-up remover for the eyes and lips is as
comforting as it is effective.

Can be used by all skin types, even sensitive.
I did find this product to be delicately fragranced and didn't
present any issues for me, but then I generally don't have
sensitive eye area.

As with a Bi-Phase products don't forget to shake the bottle well
then apply with a cotton pad.

Its silky formula gently removes even the most resistant waterproof
make-up leaving skin perfectly cleansed and eye contour comfortable.
There is no dragging of the skin whether you're using it around
the eye or over the lips.
The soothing properties can be felt and it leaves the skin free from
any oily residue.
I really enjoyed this product, but unfortunately, for me, at full price it
just doesn't work out to be very cost effective at the rate I go through
this type of product.

In case you are wanting to know...
Are there others, just as effective, that are cheaper and that also
 come in a larger size?

YES...
there are and I have reviewed many here on my blog so
check out my other Eye Make-Up Remover reviews

RECENT EMPTIES {AUGUST 2022}

I'm long overdue a "Recent Empties" post and I have 4 products
today that I have completely finished, the one seems to have become
an ongoing favourite, as  I have included previously in a Recent Empties post,
but I have used up another, so all empties will keep on appearing
as it will show you just how much I love a particular product.

1.
AVÈNE
EXTREMELY GENTLE CLEANSER

My favourite type of cleansing product is and always will be, a milk.
This particular product was part of an Avène press drop.
I originally reviewed this product back in 2016 and since then there
has been a re-package.
I really enjoy the simplicity, neutrality and efficiency of this milky
cleanser and the addition of the pump dispenser makes life easier.

2.
SKIN PROUD
ICYCLE COOLING
EYE SERUM STICK

This product has become a very recent favourite of mine and I'm
already onto my third stick, however it is only 10mls of product,
whereas most other eye products come in 15ml or 20ml sizes, hence
why I have finished my original stick so quickly.
I just love the ease of using this product, the coolness it gives to
the skin around the eye and the convenience of using it several times
a day especially on the stay at home make-up free days.
Check out my original review to find out more about this eye serum stick

BY TERRY
BAUME DE ROSE
CRAYON

This is my original crayon that I have recently finished and I do have
a back-up that I received in my 2021 BY TERRY
 Beauty calendar.
Being a huge fan of the the BY TERRY BAUME DE ROSE lip range
and having now tried all 3 format options, the pot would still be my
first choice, I find it to be more luxurious in texture and more nourishing.
However if the crayon presentation appeals more to your lifestyle
then it has to be the crayon.

4.
AUGUSTINUS BADER
THE RICH CREAM

It was a sad day when I used the last precious drop of this totally
luxe and indulgent AUGUSTINUS BADER - THE RICH CREAM.
Both I and my skin are really missing using this product and I
think it will need to go onto my overseas shopping list.
I won't say too much more, but I do recommend reading my full
review to find out more about this wonderful product

BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {AUGUST 2022}

Due to me having several product reviews to write and post for
you I've decided to give myself some breathing space, hence I have
only 2 products to review this month, however both are from skincare
brands that I have haven't tried before.
One is from a proudly South African skincare brand and the other
product is from a USA brand and both have lovely entrepreneurial
back stories.

FRESH
SOY FACE CLEANSER

This is a brand that I have not used anything from before and
despite hearing some good things about certain of their
products, I will have to do some research about the ethos
of the brand.
This Soy Face Cleanser was a product from my John Lewis's
Beaut Advent Calendar and I do enjoy trying a brand for the first time.
This universal face wash has been proven to maintain skin’s pH while also cleansing, softening, and hydrating all skin types & tones.
It's been formulated to remove make-up and cleanse both the face
and the eye area.

ENVIRON
ANTI-POLLUTION
MASK

Again this is a first for me and this full size Comfort+ Anti-Pollution Mask
was an inclusion in a South African magazine beauty edit box from
mid 2021 and I've checked the expiry and luckily its good till mid 2023.
ENVIRON was founded in South Africa over 30 years ago and has 140
products on offer and is available in over 70 countries.
This multi tasking Anti-Pollution face mask will be put to the test
and I'll revert with my thoughts soon.
