LETS TALK ABOUT - ELEMIS SKINCARE PRODUCTS

I've written a few posts titled LET'S TALK ABOUT and it's where I

talk about a variety of beauty related topics, whether it be a beauty service

or new fragrance launches and today I thought it was time to

dedicated a LET'S TALK ABOUT post to the UK Skincare brand ELEMIS.

Having primarily worked for some of the best luxury French Skincare

 brands in the past, I really didn't have too much time or interest

 to be honest in UK skincare brands, however that all changed once 

I started my own blog Beauty Shout Box back in 2012.

My blog enabled me to venture into discovering and trying

different brands, which I have to admit still centred around French skincare.

I was well aware of ELEMIS, as being a beauty therapist we all

knew about ELEMIS being the brand of choice for many Spas on cruise ships,

but other than that I knew very little about the brand...

That all changed back in 2019 when I purchased a cleanser and toner

from ELEMIS. 

I find I do this quite often when dipping my toe into new brand "waters",

I initially opt for a cleansing type product and then slowly move through

their product offering and my journey with ELEMIS has been no different.

But what is at the core of this hugely popular brand?

Like the majority of skincare brands ELEMIS offer ranges and products that 

cover most skin types and conditions.

The range that appealed greatly to me has been the

The ELEMIS products are received well by my skin and I have had no issues

with any of the products that I have tried thus far. 

I'm enjoying the textures and formulas and several products are proving

 to be very cost effective despite the initial pricey outlay. 

My skin seems to just flourish when using ELEMIS products and I can now

fully understand why it's so well loved around the world.

The products deliver on their claims and promises and I have yet to

come across a product in their range that I don't like, so long

may it continue...

They have recently launched overseas a new PRO-COLLAGEN cream

PRO-COLLAGEN MORNING MATRIX

Its a silicone-free anti-ageing daytime moisturiser to improve the feeling 

of firmness and elasticity whilst reducing the signs of tension and fatigue

 caused by modern-day stressors, such as Blue Light. 

Exposure to Blue Light releases free radicals that leads to visibly 

accelerated signs of ageing-premature lines and wrinkles, dullness 

and uneven complexion. 

This day cream would be a perfect partner for the 

PRO-COLLAGEN OVERNIGHT MATRIX which is a replenishing night cream

and it so happens to be the product that I noticed the best results with

when using, making me a huge fan.

ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN EYE REVIVE MASK #TBT REVIEW

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of ELEMIS skincare product and todays

#TBT Review only goes back to February 2021, but its become a firm

favourite of mine and a product that I recommend often.

If you are concerned about the initial price, I can confirm that this

eye mask lasts a surprisingly long time and really works out to be

good value for money.

The one thing that has changed since I wrote this review is the number

of retailers that now stock ELEMIS whether its online or in-store we have

a much better selection than ever before and ELEMIS South Africa have their

Everything in the set excites me, yet when it comes to eye products

I must admit I do get a little more than excited.

Eye products are often overlooked as being non-essentials in a skincare

regime and I often hear or read the following:

"It's an area where I can save money"

"I can't afford one"

"They don't work"

"I use my moisturiser or night cream over the eye area"

"My eye area is good I don't need to use one"

'I'll think about using one when I see the lines and wrinkles"

As you can imagine, as someone that has been using an eye cream

since my very early 20's I can but cringe when I hear these types of responses,

especially when that person is standing before me wearing super expensive 

shoes and clothes.

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you, but those clothes will be long gone when

you are 60, yet your skin will still be with you, so the choice ultimately

is your's to make, but I for one have been extremely happy with my

decision that caring for the skin around the eye area is as important

 as caring for the skin on your face and body.

Little Rant over...

ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN EYE REVIVE MASK

Anti-Wrinkle Multi-Use Eye Mask - brightens - rejuvenates - hydrates

A serum-infused eye mask that minimises the look of wrinkles, whilst 

targeting the look of puffiness and dark circles.

This moisture-plumping eye mask is formulated with next generation 

Flash Filler Hyaluronic Acid, wrinkle-reducing Watermelon Snow Algae and antioxidant-rich Bush Clover to deeply hydrate and reduce the visible effects

 of tension and strain around the eye contour.

I have seen a noticeable difference with the hydration of my skin and I find

the bouncy gel texture to be both smoothing, comforting and refreshing.

There is absolutely no feeling of product left behind on the skin once applied.

The texture is also like no other that I have tried before, as it's almost 

"cloud like" and it was soon apparent 

that after the first application a "less is more" approach needs to be adopted

as a small amount covers a large area, making this product a very cost 

effective eye treatment, considering its a multi-use product.

For optimal results, use daily or a minimum of 3 times a week.

Apply a thin layer to the eye contour and either layer under makeup

 in the morning, over make-up during the day or leave on overnight.

What I really enjoy about this product is the versatility, as this

 3-in-1 formula can be used as an overnight anti-ageing mask, 

a hydrating under-eye primer and a moisturising rescue balm, during the day.

Personally for my mature skin I find I can quite easily use this as a 

nightly eye cream and I also like to apply during the day, especially

if I've been having too much screen time.

Due to its versatility its fitted perfectly into my current beauty regime

 and I'm reaching for it more often than I first thought I would.

Research & Development where skincare is concerned is changing

fairly rapidly, especially when it comes to multi tasking products

and I think ELEMIS have nailed it with this 

Anti-Wrinkle Multi Use Eye product.

As I'm sure you are already aware I am a huge ELEMIS fan and this is 

perhaps my most favourite skincare product from the dozen or more that 

I have tried and reviewed over the past few years.

My skin responded so well and I need to get myself another jar, but I've

I have been using the

As you would expect from a night cream I found the formula to be

 a heavier one, yet it was non oily and not occlusive on the skin at all.

It glides onto beautifully and despite using nightly for

the past 4 months I have perhaps just over a 1/3 of my jar left, which

make me happy, as this night cream carries a premium price tag!

Personally my skin has never felt and looked so smooth, nourished, 

firm, yet relaxed and dare I say it "more youthful" & "bouncy"

since using ELEMIS consistently for the past 6 months.

Simply...this #1 British skincare brand makes my skin happy

 and in turn that makes me very happy.

My skin is looking great for it's age, so really what more could

I ask for from skincare products.

P.S This has to be, maybe, my 12th ELEMIS product review

and non of them have been PR Gifts (I wish they were)

all have been purchased, so these reviews are totally unbiased

and authentic.

ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM {REVIEW}

 Prior to using any products from the UK Skincare brand

ELEMIS

there were two particular products that stood out in my mind, the

 Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

These are just two of the many iconic skincare products within this

luxury range.

My journey with ELEMIS started several years ago and for the past 6 months

ELEMIS products mainly feature in my daily skincare regime.

I have plans to write a blogpost under my "Lets Talk About" title re my journey 

with ELEMIS products so far and which ones I highly recommend etc.

My collection of ELEMIS received a huge boost at Christmas as I was gifted

the fantastic ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN Stars of The Show gift set 

and I cannot express how much joy this collection of skincare products 

has brought me. Sadly it's no longer available, but I'm sure the up-coming 

Christmas gifting offering will have something very similar.

a "cleansing whirl".

My current favourite award winning Cleansing Balm is from EVE LOM 

so it has some serious competition, as the EVE LOM CLEANSER

Warm into the palms and then massage over the face, neck and décolleté

 with light circular massage movements. 

(avoid eye area)

Moisten fingertips and continue to massage.

Remove with a warm, damp cotton cleansing cloth.

(The product comes with its own branded cloth but any face cloth/flannel will do)

The balm can also be used as an intensive and relaxing mask

once or twice a week, leave on for 10 minutes and remove.

(Such a wonderful treatment and highly recommend)

This cleansing/treatment balm, for me, offers a triple experience for the skin, 

its a very luxurious and effective deep cleansing oil,

 it also nourishes the skin like you

 would expect a balm to and finally it hydrates the skin like a cleansing milk 

and this along with its divine menthol/herbal fragrance just adds to the

 appeal of this product.

This cleanser turns the mundane cleansing stage of your skin care routine 

into a what feels like a super indulgent "spa like" deep cleanse that leaves 

your skin soft, supple and glowingly clean and I'm hooked and like so 

many others out there I'm now a huge fan of the

ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM...

The ELEMIS Gift Set offerings for Christmas 2020 were fantastic to say the least

and each set did offer a saving on buying the products individually. 

(In the case of the set below it was approx a 35% saving)

Whilst here in South Africa we didn't get the full compliment on offer from 

ELEMIS,

 we did get many and I was so lucky to have received one from my youngest

"kiddiewink" as a Christmas gift and it just so happens to be the 

best in my opinion!

was perfectly named as it really was the "Star of the Show"

and for any Pro-Collagen fans out there, this was a gift of dreams.

The six face-care products and a facial cleansing cloth were

 all housed in a high quality vanity/jewellery case, with a removable insert.

Having only tried the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream prior I was very happy indeed

to have a replacement, but this time in the form of their Super Size 100ml.

The other 5 products, 2 of which were full size, were all skincare products 

from ELEMIS that I had not tried previously, so this collection of

products, for me were truly the Stars of the Show.

As you can imagine 2021 will be for me and Beauty Shout Box an 

ELEMIS year, when it comes to skincare product reviews. 

A couple of year ago I had a year where I focused on products from the 

French skincare brand Caudalie

and I know that many of you enjoyed those reviews, so expect more

of the same, just a different brand.

I cannot wait to slowly include the above into my daily skincare regime 

and as you may have seen in my recent "Currently Under Review" post

for January the NEW Pro-Collagen Eye Revive Mask is the first to be included.
