CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AROUND CAPE TOWN

I still, after 32 years of living in South Africa, find it strange to celebrate Christmas in a hot Southern Hemisphere country.Despite temperatures of 30c+ outdoors you see the traditional "Christmassy" scenes everywhere! Don't get me wrong, as I am not complaining, but I find it a total contradiction, yet I love it! I even love the fact that my family still have a traditional celebratory lunch every year of turkey,Christmas pudding, the "works". I have to admit that the lunch timing has been delayed over the years in order to accommodate the cooler part of the day.
These are some photos I took of trees and decorations around Cape Town.
