and the not so good of 2020
My Top 3 Disappointing Products 2020 here

I'm opening part 2 with one of my most expensive beauty purchase ever
and that's the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer
I actually bought this at a special price (thankfully) towards the end of 2019
and I purposely didn't include it in my 2019 fave list, as I thought it was
 only fair to give the hairdryer a longer trial period and include it into
my 2020 Top 10 Hair & Body Products 2020 list if deserving.
I highly recommend that you read my rather lengthy review for my
personal story as to why I invested (and an investment it certainly is)
in the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer.
Read my full review here

I have been using this hairdryer for well over a year now and
personally I wouldn't be without, it's super quick and easy to use
and drying my hair is no longer a lengthy tedious chore, as it's truly dry
 within 5-10 mins and in turn that has cut down the heat exposure on my
hair drastically and thats exactly what I was looking for from my hairdryer,
so it NOW deserves to be included in this years list.

~~~~~~
2020 was a year where I had time to focus more on using treatments
on my hair, more so than in previous years, and these next two products
have really made a difference and have  both
proved to be a useful additions to my haircare collection.
Inoar Résistance Lotus Flower Oil
strengthens, repairs, realigns, reduces frizz, and restores hair health & shine
and a little applied in the palms of your hands goes such a long way, so don't
be under the impression(as I initially was) that 7mls won't last too long
as it does and offers great value for money
To find out more details, as to why it's made my list click here
Also from the same haircare brand the
INOAR Résistance Lotus Super Ampoule
The contents of which promise to
strengthen, moisturise & nourish the hair in 3 minutes.
This intense "HOME" ampoule treatment is flexible regarding use,
as you can also add a couple of drops into your regular conditioner
or hair mask.
Considering the ease of use, the effectiveness and the price of the ampoule
 this certainly gives you a very cost effective salon result all in the
comfort of your own home.
Who would have thought that 2020 would have been the year of the
Hand Sanitiser, but it has and it doesn't look like we will be saying
goodbye to it anytime soon, but rather it seems to be a permanent fixture in
our lives or should I say bags, cars and homes.
I've always been a user of Hand Sanitisers, but not to the extent I have
during 2020 and whilst I have 2 favourites the one is way more affordable
than the other.
The
INOAR Hydrating Hand Sanitizer Gel
stood out above the other affordable options that I tried over the year.
It contains 70% alcohol ensuring that 99,9% of bacteria, viruses and germs
are immediately eliminated.
I have recommended this product to so many people and the feedback
has all been the same:
Non drying
 Non sticky
Non drying,
Leaves your skin feeling moisturized and soft,
Offers good value for money.
This particular hand sanitizer can be found dotted around my house and in
my car and by the way this one was Clean "Hands Down" the most liked
 by the family.
The L'Occitane Verbena Clean Hands Gel
it a more expensive option and therefore has pride and place in my
handbag and rightly so, as Verbena is one of my fave fragrances.
Being a 65ml size it easily fits into my bag and has a quick and easy to open
 flip lid and I found it not also to be non drying and non sticky, but it smells amazing and brightens any day.
I would love to hear, in the comments section below, any of your views
on these products.
BEAUTY PRODUCTS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW {AUGUST 2020}
Here I am saying it again "I can't believe it's a new month", which automatically
means that I have some products to review and this month I have three and the one,
is A rather earlier than planned purchase, off my "Wishlist".
The other is a new skincare product launch from Avène and the third is a single dose
 face mask from L'Occitane, which I hope is isn't as disappointing as the last
single dose face mask I tried from this brand...
1.
L'Occitane
Invigorating
Eye & Face Mask
I have to stop being drawn into buying sheet and single dose
face masks, that without doubt work out to be a more expensive masking option.
I was intrigued though by this new addition, which is both a Face & Eye mask
made with freshly picked Provencal Melon.
Be sure to pop back during the month to find out if it was worth the spend or not.
I will post the link below to my review on the last mono dose mask I tried
from one of my favourite brands...L'Occitane.
2.
Avène
Cicalfate+
Restorative Protective Cream
This is a new launch from the French skincare brand Avène and one that I'm excited
about, as it's a new version of their Cicalfate cream and now has the + added to denote
all the extra uses for this cream, that can be, literally, used by all the family
at some point.
It's a rich restorative, protective, barrier cream that can soothe even the most
 sensitive of skins. It's the go-to product for skin lesions and and dry irritations,
so you can rest assured that I will be finding any family skin issues to test out
the Avène Cicalfate+ .
3.
BYTERRY
Hyaluronic
Hydra-Foundation
SPF 30
I cannot tell you how high my excitement level is to have my "beauty hands"
on this BYTERRY foundation.
It went onto my "Wishlist" earlier this year, not long after its worldwide launch
and I can't believe that I'm crossing it off that list so soon.
This is now my 4th BYTERRY purchase and considering I've not been disappointed
with any of them I have really high hopes for this new addition.
This skincare foundation promises hydration, comfort,long wearing
 buildable coverage for flawless skin and I can't wait to give you feedback.
Let me know in the comments below if you have used any of the above...
LUXE SKINCARE GIFTING IDEAS 2019
 I tend to steer away from doing Christmas Gift Guides, but this year I've decided to
put together some of my favourite skincare gifting that I've come across and think
offer great value for money.
 Obviously they can be used as gifts for any skincare lover, but better still they could be a year end treat from You2You or even just a way of stocking up on your skincare essentials for the coming year at a cheaper price and in several instances you receive added products at no charge.
PAYOT
BLUE TECHNI LISS
50ml BLUE TECHNI LISS JOUR (Day)
30ml BLUE TECHNI LISS CONCENTRATE (Serum)
VALUE R2,148
(Available at selected Dischem Pharmacies and Independent Pharmacies nationwide and only whilst stocks last)
This is my absolute favourite skincare offer and the best for this festive season.
This year PAYOT launched their BLUE TECHNI LISS product line that focuses
on protecting and counteracting the damages on the skin from blue light that's emitted from computer screens, cell phones and laptops.Its suitable for all skin types and ideal as a gift for the man in your life.
I recently reviewed the night and the sheet face mask
 to read my full reviews
I'm tempted to buy this set for myself as it offers the day cream, the eye and the concentrate serum all at a saving of R853 and take it from me it's a great range
 from a great French brand.
Clarins
The Hydration Collection
50ml Hydra-Essential-All Skin Types
15ml SOS Hydra Mask
30ml Gentle Foaming Cleanser
(available from Clarins stockists countrywide and online)You really can't go wrong with any gift set from Clarins and they have several
on offer in 2019.They cover a variety of skin types and price points and I've chosen the Hydration Collection because it focuses on intense hydration and radiance and whose skin doesn't need help with these areas...
The 50ml Hydra-Essential  retails for the same price as the set, which means you receive the SOS Hydra Mask (which I've tried and is great), the Gentle Foaming Cleanser (an iconic Clarins cleanser) and the beauty pouch free.
L'Occitane
Divine Premium Set
Contains:
Divine Cream 50ml
Immortelle Divine Youth Oil 30ml
RRP : R2,950
Value : R3,180
(available from L'Occitane Boutiques countrywide and Online)
It wouldn't be a very good Christmas Gift Guide if I didn't include a gift set from my favourite French brand L'Occitane.
For many years I used the complete range of Divine face care products and this set contains two of the best essentials, the Divine Cream and the Immortelle Divine Youth Oil.
Packed with concentrated anti-aging properties to help mature skin regenerate.
This range fights the visible signs of ageing and the skin appears firmer, smoother,
more radiant and brighter.
Offering a discount of R230 over buying the products separately it could be the start
of a Divine skincare journey.
PAYOT
MY PAYOT
30 ml MY PAYOT CONCENTRATE ECLAT (Serum)
I have chosen another offer from PAYOT, with enriched antioxidant superfruit extracts,
MY PAYOT skin care products meet all the expectations of stressed and tired skin. A comprehensive range to meet all the needs of dull skin to regain a fresh and luminous complexion.This set contains, in my opinion the 3 most vital skincare products,
 Day Cream/Eye Cream and that all important serum to give your skin a post
festive season boost.
Happy Shopping!
L'OCCITANE DELICIOUS LIP SCRUB RASPBERRY CRUSH {REVIEW}
L'Occitane have just launched here in South Africa a range of
3 Delicious Lip Scrubs and I have to say this excites me.
I've said a million times on this blog about how its so important to
exfoliate our bodies from top to toe, including our lips.
To be fair there's not a huge choice of Lip scrubs/exfoliators out there but L'Occitane
 have just launched 3 fruity options, as part of a Fruity Collection of products, which also includes Lip Balms, Lip Protector,Lipsticks and Face Masks.
The 3 Mediterranean flavours are:
Marmalade Kiss
Raspberry Crush
&
Fabulous Fig
My choice was the the Raspberry Crush and it not only looks and smells scrumptious
(similar to Raspberry Jam)
 but it does an excellent job of smoothing the skin to reveal soft lips.
Its formulated with mouth watering extracts of Mandarin,Fig and Raspberry to gently exfoliate.
It couldn't be easier or more of a delight to use:
Use once or twice a week.
Gently rub onto dry lips in a circular motion then rinse off with water for a smooth finish. A small amount is all you require and
after use you can follow with the new L'Occitane Delicious Multi-Balm for extra moisture and Fruity Lipstick for a shot of care and colour.
The Formula is vegetarian friendly and made without silicone, mineral oil and animal derivate ingredients.
Beauty Shout Box gives this product a very deserving 10/10 despite its rather
steep pricing, but I'm sure the cost per application will work out to be fairly low.
I'm just happy to see that there is now a wider selection of lip care products available
here in South Africa
 and hopefully this will become a permanent line, as I sense that this new collection
 could be a Limited Edition range.
SUNDAY SAMPLE
As I'm sure you're all aware I'm a huge fan of the French brand
L'Occitane
and especially of the Divine Anti-Ageing collection of skincare products.
This range has grown considerably over the years from one product,
 and my absolute fave - The Divine Cream.
Earlier this year the
Immortelle Divine Foaming Cleansing Cream
was added to this Luxury range
and I've got a weeks worth of samples to try out, so check back on Sunday
to see how I got on...
Here are my previous reviews on some of the Divine products.
